had my ba yesterday 10th may. it totally shock cant believe its come true.
admission time was at 2pm and had to be nbm for 6hours. so i woke up early about 7am had a full breakfast as i knew i was goin to be hungary before my op if i didnt eat.
arrived at the hospital at 2pm and the nurse whowed me to my room .
i was literally in my room for just under 10minutes before the nurse came and admitted me. just as the nurse was leaving the anethisis(spelt wrong i know my head is still all over the head)he went though what was going to happen through the surgery and the meds he was going to do and what to expect after i had woken up.
after dr k came to my room draw me up all ready for my ba.
5minutes later a hca came up and took my to theatre . all the staff so far were so polite and try the best to keep me calm in which i was untill it came to them putin me to sleep .
i remember as they tried to put the cannula in i was shakin and soo nervous . before i knew i was driftign to sleep next thing i know i was waking up. it was so unreal , felt like i was dreaming
arrived back in my room about 5pm at this time i was sleepy and trying to stay awake as my bf was there asking me questions and pouring me drinks. couldnt eat for another 2hours after the ba .nearly a whole day with no food but after the ba i didnt really want to eat just sleep. by 9pm i was full awake and found it hard to sleep , i just wanted to get home to see my little boy
my heads all over the place still, so tired going to go have anouth nap
