ba and rhinoplasty……. support pls :(

have my ba with dr fallahdar and rhinoplasty (same op) on 30th, am petrified….. comforting words pleeeeease girls ‘(

is it really really painful??? what if i wake up?!!?!

I’m also going to have a ba and rhinoplasty at the same time but it’s on the 17th of May and with dr chantarasak. I’m also very scared and thinking if I’m doing the right thing… And to add, I have a 19 month old baby girl so in the first week every time she returns from nursery I’ll be hidden in bedroom because I don’t want to scare her or if she sees me she’ll want me to hold her and I’m sure it will painful. Thank god my mum will be here to help me.

From what I’ve been reading in other websites, the worst part of the rhino is the discomfort in the first week. They say it’s not very painful. What concerns me is that the ba is already painful and uncomfortable and add that to rhino we’re going to have an horrible first week…

But is as my husband says, at least you’ll only have to be in pain once because they’ll be doing at the same time.

If there’s someone else that already had this experience please give us a word.

Ah Ive never met someone on here who is havin ba and rhino at the same time! what i keep thinking of now is that im gonna be under GA for double the time now, makes it slightly more dangerous i think but its just the once isnt it.

worse thing for me is ive just broke up with my boyfriend, two weeks before my op! timing ay! really havent got the support at the moment but my mum will be helping me, nothing like a hug from ur hubby tho is there.

hello hun, yeah i told my pc i want both done and in the same op and they give u a surgeon who can do both. im paying just under 7000, think it depends on what they have to do (my nose isnt too bad i just want it tweaked a little, theres no major bump or anything) also having them done together ur paying for one anaesathetist (excuse my spelling), one hospital visit etc. not sure what part is costing what. xxx

that would be great having them done at the same time as i’d just like the tip of my nose made a bit smaller. yeah i see what you mean would def save money than if you were to do them separately just not sure i’d be able to as borrowing some of the money from my mum so may have to stick to just the BA for now!

Hi Hunn, I felt no pain with my BA it was just uncomfortable and ive heard time and time again that rhinoplasty is the most pain free surgical procedure out there! It just feels like you have a bad cold/blocked nose. You’ll do great and you won’t wake up Hunn! Just think of how you’ll look after it’ll be over before you know it xx

thanks khanni, i have read a few stories where the rhino doesnt hurt at all, just keep thinking im gonna have two things to be really careful of, just have to have ppl running around after me, the things we have to do ay!! xx
