BA done on 7th April – still so much pain and cant move:(

had 410 overs on 7th April still in so much pain… so confused cause everyone seems to be fine after a few days –

still cant look after my 18th month old – been down his dads for the last week and expecting him to be down there another week

so swollen – and sick…. alot lower than i would expect as well… had MR singh..

Back to work wednesday and dont think ill be ready

Hi Tinker, you are only a few days post op hun. I felt very uncomfortable and took pain killers constantly for 7 days. Everytime I was up and about my boobs became really swollen and tight to the point that I felt very breathless at times. I’m 25 days post op now and have noticed so much improvement within the last week. I do get very tired after being up and about all day at work. This time last week I was in pain trying to drive and now that’s stopped. Just take it easy. You will feel loads better within another week lovely x

Hi Tinker, I had 410 overs with Mr Singh on 7th April also. I’m sorry to hear you’re not feeling great.

I have been taking painkillers but I’ve been able to get up and go for a walk although I do get tired really easily. It’s very numb and uncomfortable. Can’t lift anything heavy or reach high up yet but apart from that I feel ok. They are also still very swollen… but don’t panic cos I think that’s normal! (my friend said it takes weeks for swelling and numbness to go)

Don’t panic cos everyone recovers at a different rate but I think that if you are concerned at all you should give your nurse a call… that’s what they are there for! When is your post op check? x

Hi Tinker,
I had 410 overs on the 7th aswell with mr adamo. I was really shitty for the first 3 days, i was taking the painkillers every 6 hours, even set my alarm for in the night.
I have been getting so so tired. and have cried so much lol. i dont think anyone is prepared for the healing bit! I am feeling a lot better today.
when is your post op?
and what were your before stats?
also mr adamo said not to wear a sports bra – which im not. are both of you wearing one?

hiya ladies soooo much better still soooomuch pain but better

can feel constant pulling and feels like sunburn the skin is sooo sore from the bandages – had to call nurse to take them off 2 days early – felt better straight away.

yes wearing sports bra constant which actually is not the best being very careful with which tops i can wear… went out over weekend and knocked a few times – still not tryin to pick my little boy up but nurse said its ok as long as i didnt 2 much –
went back to work 7 days post op – which killed me constant back ache – cannot believe how much they have dropped – in a dd sports bra at moment and suprised how real they look.

my before stats – 34b size 10 5’9 now i can only just fit into a 34dd bra in m&s but tesco my sports bra is a d – the tesco and asda sports bras allow alot more give a take a few sizes weirdly enough.

do anybody know what i will do by lifting heavy things – which i have had to do today and yest…. 10 and 11 days post op also started driving 7 days post op and started sleeping on my side 7 days post op??? xxx
