BA -drains??! xx

Hey everyone, im getting my BA and a maxopexy done on the 24th with Dr Traynor, i am soo nervous, went for my pre op today. I am only having the maxopexy in one breast as after being pregnant i need a slight uplight, the other breast has stayed fine. I am having 460 implants, hoping im not going too big. I am worrying about the drains afterwards as everyone i know who has had a BA said the drains are the most painful part? xxx

Oohh no drains are nothing at all!! when they take them out you feel a tiny little nip, then thats it!

when there in, you can’t really feel them, they just do your head in though when you try and go to the toilet.
You have to carry them with you, and theres this gooey watery blood in the bottom!
But its nowt!! X

how do u go on with toilet sleeping etc if u got them in at home for 5 days,r they painfull,,how can u move around and can u c a lot of blood its putting me of..

Hey i agree with Janeyh you dont rlly notice them apart from when u need to go to the toilet, i had mine in for 12 hours after op and that was all, never heard of anyone having them in for 5 days x

I also agree with janeh you are only aware of them when going to the loo,and getting them out is nothing,ive also never heard of them being in 5 days youll be fine dont worry about the drains youll have your new boos xxx

thanks girls, i am just worried thats all but your right at the end of the day i will have new boobs so thats all i need to think about hehe!! Not many sleeps left now, 24th im having them done!! xxx

Hiya i was really scared about the drains too but they were fine i just felt a bit of pulling, they look red but the nurse told me its not blood its just fluid that they use dont be scared you will be fine, good luck xxx

ive got to have drains in 6 days after op as im having macrolane(boob injection )gone wrong????taken out then implants put in its classes as breast re-augemation,,so more money,pain,and hassle,,anyone else had this done or anything similar….???really scared of pain,drains,and if owt goes wrong dont want to worse than i am now,,be very careful if u have macrolane,,not gud

princess did mr traynor say he would use drains on you??? he didnt on me, I have had them in the past though with my 1st ba had them in for 3 days as was in hospital 3 nights. xxx
