BA & uplift…would love to hear your experiences and advice please xx

Hello everyone, I’m new to the forum I have 2 children and due to pregnancy and weight loss my boobs have suffered iv been thinking about getting them done now for a few years and now I am finally in a position financially to do so…

I’m almost certain I will need an uplift and would really welcome any advice you can give me regarding surgeons/size etc…I’m very interested in Helena Antoniadou as iv heard good things about her! Would love to hear some of your experiences and if possible see some pics as I’m am slightly worried about scarring…thanks so much xx

I had just a ba last Friday and have gone from a 34a/aa to a 34d so far. I had mr Kazzazi at park hill Doncaster. He is amazing!! My stats are 167cm, 56kgs, size 10. I don’t know anything about the surgeon your looking at I’m afraid but just wanted to give you an idea of stats and sizes. I had 380cc cui mhp. Feel free to add me if you want to see pics. I’ve found seeing other real girls especially with similar stats so helpful! Xx

Hi sizzynat, thanks so much for your reply…congratulations on your new assets I’m 5ft 10 and weigh around 10 and a half stone, I’m currently a 34C but they are like spaniels ears lol and hoping to achieve around a full D cup with a lift and implant, iv been researching but not booked my initial consultation yet but am hoping to go through MYA or transform…I’d love to see your pics, thank you xx

No problem. I chose mya because of the aftercare package. Some companies only offered 30 days! My experience with them so far has been good. My pc is Wanda at the Birmingham clinic (I’m from Leicester) and she’s lovely. My only moan so far was actual park hill hospital. Wasn’t very impressed by it but otherwise I’m really happy, love my twins best thing I’ve ever done xx

It was the aftercare package that initially drew me to MYA but iv read so many negative posts on here recently, I only registered last night but have been reading lots of the threads for a few weeks! It seems that the Manchester clinic doesn’t come highly rated and unfortunately that’s my nearest clinic…im keeping my options open regarding which company to go with and I’m not going to rush into anything, iv waited this long I want to be sure of the right clinic and surgeon before I hand over my savings! Hey flossy, ive just had my ba and full uplift (tue) with mario russo at mya. I was so worried about havin the lift and really reluctanct but he promised it would give me the best result. Up to yet they are lookin pretty good, hard to tell completely with dressings on. Im almost 6 foot and 11 and half stone, and ive had 470 unders, wearing a 38e sports bra but once they settle reckon ile be in a 36dd. Ive had hardly any pain and feel great two days post op, go for it if its what you want xx

What size were you pre op if you don’t mind me asking? 470cc that’s quite a big implant, I’d read somewhere that 300cc is the biggest you can go with an uplift although I guess it depends on the surgeon! Glad your pleased, would you mind if I added you Hun?

I definitely want this 100% just want to research some more first before I start the ball rolling xx

Flossy, i’m with the manchetser clinic, and i havnt had any major problems, my appt wasnt on the system when i initially turned up for consultation but they squeezed me and honoured my appt letter ! but other than that, they have looked after me well, given me advice when i needed it. I would ahve chased them to death if they had not!!!

I was given so many referrals for Mario Russo, as he favours the natural look.

Lozzlooloo – how can you fit in a e cup, i had to buy a g cup sports this week to get my 470s in!! i’m jealous as its difficult to find my size in the shops 32g is either popular or never in stock! as for m&s zip bra, my boobs wont go together yet to squeeze in even though they are fully soft to touch being three weeks po, they wont budge out of place !! i do love them though!

Hey natalie, im a bigger rib meassurement, id usually be a 36, so got 38 for the swelling, etc, and the bigger the rib size the smaller u need to go with the cup size to get a bigger cup if u get what i mean! Im a size 14 and tall too, so cos im curvy the 470s on me look pretty much normal size, i had 435s in before my reaug, and was 36d or dd dependin on where i got my bras, and the extra 35cc wont be enuff to add a cup size, i just wanted it to make up the bit of volume i was losing with the skin being taken away. Flossy, i was 36dd before this last op but that was with implants already in, before the first ba i was a very empty 36b prior to gettin the 435s cos id had babies and lost weight, etc. I was also a very slim size 12 at that time, now im still carrying a stone extra that ive not lost since i had my son whos one. I think ive been allowed the bigger size with the uplift cos i already had a similar size implant in and the pocket was there and also if id had to go alot smaller i wouldnt have been happy! Ive heard they drop sooner with bigger implants but when i asked mario he said that wouldnt be a problem for me and they shud’nt drop any sooner than if id not had the lift, so i guess time will tell . But if u do need the lift it seems the best option cos then u wont be goin back for it to be redone in just a few years from now. Good luck on what u decide xx

I had a nipple lift – mario said i didnt really need an uplift but could have one. we agreed initally to have just the left nipple lifted but he changed his mind on the day and did both, which was fine with me. i’m made up with them! x

Yeah I think I definitely will need a lift, iv read a lot of stories on here about people being advised to have a lift but having a large implant instead! I don’t want to risk paying for another op a few years down the line due to not taking the surgeons advice and just having a large implant! Thanks lozzalooloo, you’ve been really helpful xx

Would the Leeds clinc be an option? I’ve heard good things about there but my geography is rubbish lol! Thank you for the compliment, I am over the moon with them. I can actually fill a bra. I’ve never been able to do that in my life. I had a small amount of breast tissue underneath but the top was empty and not enough breast tissue to push up to make any sort of cleverage it you know what I mean? It’s all very novel right now xxx

I had thought about the Leeds clinic sizzynat, Manchester would be ideal but there are so many negative posts about it, I don’t want to be wasting my time and money with a clinic that doesn’t deliver if you get what I mean….I don’t mind travelling if I get the care and attention I’ll be paying for!

Ahh, it’s great having boobs lol…before my children I had a pert 34D, I guess I took them for granted a bit, you don’t realise what you have until you don’t have it any more xx

Hey hun, I’m with the Leeds clinic and they are brilliant. So helpful and all so friendly. I had 265 and 295cc implants and a nip lift 17 days ago with Mario Russo and am really pleased. I have no dressings or steri-strips on now and the scars are looking great so far xx

I had Helena antonioadou. I have had my bandages off today and just have steri strips on now. My left is very bruised and looks pretty ugly round nipple but it’s still early days and I love the shape and fullness of them.

I’m feeling great so far, the only pain I’ve had is stinging from my incision where the implant was placed but it’s not bad. I’ve got to go back on Tuesday to have steri strips removed and have clean ones put on. I agree Leeds clinic is fab I have had excellent service from them.

I had 230 in left and 350 in right to correct asymmetry. I’m so happy with size, the nipple lift does look a bit scary at mo but I know it will get better. I’ve seen some of Helenas work and it’s fab. I would recommend Helena to anybody she knew just what look I wanted and I went with what she said xx
