Hi Ladies I really hope someone can help me as I am getting alot of conflicting information re this.
I am 32 years old and have not yet had children!
If I do have chidren it is probably going to be in the next couple of years.
I am planning my BA for September – I am just worried about wasting all that money then getting pregnant – what will happen to my boobs? I am not planning on breastfeeding so that isn’t the issue. Once I have had children will they go back to what they were like or is there still a risk they will look like empty tea bags.
Anyone who has had a BA then had children within 12-24 months I would be so happy to hear from you……..
I’m 9 days post op and planning on having children in the next couple years. My boobs are going to change shape but within 10 years i’ll get another boob job anyway as implants only last between 10-16 years and then you have them done again, x
Hiya Tracy, if u have a baby your boobs will obviousley get bigger with fluid and milk once the baby arrives wether or not u choose to breast feed, once that fluid goes and your milk goes back they will return to normal there is NO way they will look like empty tea bags!! Your implant will still be there and will still be strong and as long as u use some kind of oil your skin should be fine, nobody could ever say to you they will be ‘exactly’ the same because they will be a little stretched but some skin tightens up quickly but either way im sure you wont notice a difference. My friend has had 2 children since having 700cc implants and her boobs are as good today as the day she has them done so dont worry. Hope it helps x x x x x x
Good bras all the way through and get measured Reg and wear one at night time I’m sure you’ll be fine … x
Hi I ad 2 kids n ended up with empty tea bags lol due to breast feeding then 5 wk ago I ad my op. B4 booking op I asked my pc what will happen if I have another baby as I dnt intend on breast feeding again. She said they will just fill up n empty as normal boobs would. They shouldn’t mis shape etc either. I think mis shaping etc is mainly caused by breast feeding but im no expert. I have read somewhere tho that if u av implants under the muscle (which i have) there is chance they could double bubble meanin the implant stays in place and the boob sags causing 4 boobs, nice! Lol I’m assuming this is from breast feedin tho although I could find anything stating which it is. I would def check with ur pc first I no I will b b4 having another baby. If double bubble can happen either way I nd to make sure ive cash saved for another BA first lol x
Mr PC and Dr Kazzazi told me if I was planning on having children within the next 12 months to wait until after the baby.
As you know, your boobs will get bigger and the skin will stretch, which means your boobs may drop a bit when they go back to normal after pregnancy. Imagine a pair of tights with rice in the foot part, this is the feeling i am getting they will look like (not to that extent of course)!
I am thinking of waiting, I wouldnt want to pay 4k only to have them droopy after a year! However having said that, who knows I might not be able to get pregnant for 2+ years.
Arghhhh x
I am 15 months PO and have a 2 month old baby..
My boobs dont look massively different, if anything a litte more natural..
Only problem i did have was i got alo of stretch marks on my boobs, which i am guessing is from them being stretched so much after the BA and very shortly after stretched alot again.. Before they had recovered from the intial stretch..
I was orginally a 32a (if that even) and had 380cc under muscle..
xxxx
I put a post on here a while back about what would happen if you were to get pregnant, it basically said that they wouldnt change any more or less than if you had naturally big boobs, all depends on the reaction of your body too, theres no definate answer to what will happen because everyone is different, but looking at peple like kendra wilkinson, her boobs still look great after having her baby boy
Here it is lol please mind I copy pasted this from a website months ago and ACTUALLY had my BA in January coz my dad offered me the money I needed earlier and Iv paid him back every penny:
Im having 20 and having a BA in June and plan to have kids at around the age of 25-30. A friend I was talking to brought up the good point of what might happen to them after you have kids! So I reasearched some information and thought I’d put some of the interesting info I found on this for others to see I’m just copy-pasting directly from where I found the info from different plastic surgeons….Just so you know it is NOT advised to have a BA if your planning on having kids in the NEAR future i.e. the next 1-2 years. But my info is based on if people are very young, having a BA and want to have kids more like 5 years down the line.
1. Breasts will usually change after going through pregnancy:
many women notice a loss of volume
less tone and more sagging commonly occur
Implants do not prevent these changes, nor do they make these changes worse, but the relationship of the implant to the breast may be altered as a consequence of the changes from pregnancy.
At the time of breast augmentation, the implant is positioned to be in harmony with your natural breast. If there is much drooping of the breast, the implant position may no longer retain that harmonious position: it may be too high on the chest relative to the position of a now more droopy breast. This can be corrected with a breast lift procedure.
You might also consider a larger implant if you have had much loss of breast volume after pregnancy.
2. Pregnancy will not ruin your breast implants. It may alter the appearance of your breasts. Some breasts will not change in appearance while some breasts have significant changes requiring future surgery. It all depends on how your breast tissue and skin stretch and retract. I have a significant number patients who, after pregnancy, feel their breasts look more natural because of the subtle changes that have occurred.
3.The part of your breasts that are your implants will not change, so the amount of enlargement and stretch is less than an imaginary twin sister with breasts that are the same size as yours without implants. After pregnancy, and probably more so if you breast feed, your breasts will likely lose some tissue volume, giving you less filling (to some degree as individual as each patient) inside a stretched skin brassiere. Fortunately for you, your implants do not decrease in volume or size, so you retain this portion of “fill” unchanged.
What this really means is that your breast implants are not a problem with pregnancy or breast feeding, and that if your breasts change enough that you would like them to be different, your plastic surgeon can discuss these options with you. You may still look great and need nothing, you may want somewhat bigger implants to better fill your breast skin, or you may wish to have a breast lift, with or without implant changes. Your weight after pregnancy also has a major impact. Enjoy your new addition; don’t worry about your breasts
I’m going to leave it there this is the site I got the info from http://www.realself.com/question/pregnancy-ruin-breast-implants
My surgeon also told me I can still breastfeed in the future (unless something went drastically wrong) which was a big issue for me because I really want to
If you’re planning on having a baby in like the next 1-2 years its not advisable to get a BA done yet
There are many reasons for this but it wouldnt harm the baby if you DID get pregnant, it’s more about your breasts changing size, shape, sagging etc….
