B/A With Mastopexy??

I’ve had my surgical consultation today with Mr Russo (yum) and I just wanted to speak to someone who had also had a similar procedure? I also have assymetrical boobs so I’m looking at going for a 380 & a 340. New to this so any advice would be mucho appreciated

Hey hun, is mastopexy an uplift?? I had a nipple lift and BA with mr Russo on the 27th Feb. 295cc in lefty and 265cc in righty due to a little size difference. I had natrelle responsive implants over the muscle xx

Yeah it’s an uplift. He’s basically said he has to reshape both my boobs because i have tubular breasts and there’s approx 3/4 cup sizes difference. He didn’t mention over/under with me and I forgot to ask but he gave my pc sizes ranges from 190 to 380 as the biggest so I went for the 380 I’m so excited to actually book in and not feel like a freak anymore. How were you with pain/movement post op? Xx

I think mine could have been slightly tubular before hun but they’re a really nice shape now. Add me if you want to look at pics but I haven’t uploaded any before pics yet. Pain Seems to be different for everyone but it was worse than I expected. Was fine once I got the painkillers they provide down my neck though! They’re still v sore now as I’m only 8 days post op but it’s definitely getting easier! Just make sure you do pretty much nothing for a week after, boring yes but you’ll feel so much better for resting xx

Aww thanks Hun I’ll add you now. Worse than expected doesn’t sound good, but I have a pretty high pain threshold so I’m hoping I’ll surprise myself, we’ll see. That’s what I was thinking, I normally work from home anyway but I’m going to take time off and just watch films and read books. I’m excited to just book it now and start counting down the days. I’m convinced I’m going to turn into a serial flasher once theyve been done. Haha xx

hi hun, im having a nipple lift and ba tomorrow. i have over a full cup difference in my breasts, one is a full c and one is a d/dd. Im having a 230 in larger and 320/350 in smaller to even them out. im having overs.

Ive spoken to loads of people who have scared me about scarring and sensations and not being able to drive for 6 weeks etc which really freaked me out. I know everyone is different but I’m so happy I found this forum rather than hearing horror stories from other people.

Amanda.s what size did you end up after yours? I don’t want to be too big but I want to have decent jugs, rather than paying out 6 to 6 and a half grand and end up feeling like I want them bigger.

Cheers hunni, your boobs are fab. Bra sizes sounds so big and I’m like wooooaah thats huge, but yours dont look massive. Realistically Im thinking size isn’t the major issue, its the shape and asymmetry of them that my main priority really. My P/C called before about booking a date and its looking likely to be the 30th April!! Im so excited now xx

Awww thank you hun, will keep updating pics so you can see the scarring but I had my dressings off yesterday and couldn’t believe how neat they were. I have little steri strips on now instead. I’m really happy with the result and so glad I had the nip lift as well instead of just implants xxx

A few people have said their scars are really neat and fine, I’m so pale that at first I know they’re going to stand out really bad, but I heal pretty well so I’m hoping that will be the case with my new twins too Do you know how soon after you can start using bio oil etc? Cos a friend of mine said thats what she used on her scars and her’s are minute, you have to really concentrate to see them, but she couldn’t remember how long she was told to wait!

Oh its so exciting talking to everyone about them I think I’m boring my parents and friends half to death. But my parents have been really good like my mum’s come to all my appointments with me and done her own research, and my Dad is willing to actually sit and talk boobs with me, when normally he mumbles about girl talk and walks out! I’m still worrying over sizes though, cos it’s such a big decision, and I’m hopelessly indecisive anyway! xxx

I think the nurses say 6 weeks but my surgeon said 4 weeks, I think I’ll ask the nurse again on my next check up on Wednesday cos I suppose it all depends on how much the scars have healed and closed up…

Haha totally normal hun, I couldn’t talk about anything else. At one point my boyfriend asked if we could talk about something non boob related for 10mins lol, must have driven him mad. My mum has been really great too bless her. My dad just sticks his fingers in his ears and looks traumatised when I talk about them! What size are you now and what size do you want to look? xxx

Yeah I suppose for everyone its different depending on how you’re healing!

My Dad keeps trying to make jokes about boobs, the other day he came out with me having 2 of his employees for a grand each and I was like hmmmm, not the kind of tits I’m after. He’s been fab though and he keeps trying to understand how it works and what happens and why I hate my boobs now so he definitely needs and A* for effort. My brother was like hmmmmm you best not be showing anyone them once they’re done, haha, little does he know I’ll be getting them out at every opportunity!!

Im a 34A in my left and 34D in my right. Mr Russo has said that if I go for the 340 in my right and 380 in my left it should take me to a solid D. But cos I’m a D in my right anyway I don’t know if I want to go bigger so I could be more of an E. Or if I’m just being greedy. Some people have said cos I’m having a lift you can’t go too big because of the incisions and healing. xxx

Yeah I have heard that too about not being able to go big, it makes sense really, no point in having a lift and getting massive implants for them to just sag again from the weight and affect the scars healing properly!

Aw it’s really exciting isn’t it hun. Do you have a date in mind? And bless your dad, that’s really lovely that he’s trying to understand it all mine just keeps referring to me as Jordan or Boobs xxx

Yeah I know, and I don’t want to go too big =S I keep talking myself into going bigger and then out of it again.

I spoke to my P/C yesterday and have provisionally booked 30th April. I have time to cancel or rearrange if I want and still get my deposit back because I’ve still got a few appointments with other surgeons this weekend but I think I’m going to end up sticking with Mr Russo. Ive done my own research and I just feel better generally about Mya and Mr Russo. I went to see Harley Medical Group last night and you’d think they’d be the most professional but they wanted me to pay to speak to a surgeon, even though the nurse I spoke to couldnt say what procedures I’d have or even if they could help me and wouldnt tell me if the surgeon had dealt with a case like mine before, and then she sat there and slagged off Mya, saying about clinics the Towie lot use and my Mum was not impressed. They were so unprofessional and dodged all my questions.

No doubt I’ll end up with a boob related nickname xxxx
