BA with Mr Adamo yesterday!!

Hiya ladies, finally went in for my op on the 21st! Appointment was at 11 so settled into my room and went in to the theatre 3 hours or so later. Nurse came in to give me a gown and socks..quite a swift process really..remember the nurses being quite nice and next thing I knew I was awake and the op had been carried out! I came round and just kept blabbering to the nurses who were quite approachable. Then was taken back to my room and must have had about 10 different nurses at my beck and call which was quite pleasant. The pain was not as bad as I thought and I did not even need the painkillers. However I did not get much sleep during the night..maybe due to the upright position I had to stay in which was not very comfortable. It was reasurring to know I could call on the nurses with the alarm whenever I wanted! Dinner was quite nice too (salmon and seasonal vegetables) and a fruit salad. Funny cos am quite quesy when it comes to blood, injection or anything of the sort but felt quite calm overall. Next thing I knew it was morning and Dr Adamo came in to check on me and said I was doing very well..was discharged around half 10. They look quite swollen at the moment..but am managing to do the things I usually do and not feel like an invalid! Very pleased so far! To anyone who has their op coming up..there really isn’t anything to worry about..was quite a breeze! Am just glad I took the step to do what I always wanted to!!its a fantastic feeling! By the way had 310 cc and am a size 6-8 and 5 ft 4. Now wearing sports bra 32 d.so worth every 3600 spent! One of the best things I could have done for myself..if anyone has any questions feel free to ask! Xx

Thanks ladies..to ladyluck; yes i paid 3600 inclusive the overnight stay at the High gate Hospital..did not want to risk my health in anyway by having day case…Are you having yours anytime soon?

My consultation is this thursday and my surgery is hopefully going to be on the 29th August… getting very nervous now but still very excited. Where did you buy your sports bra from?

Do they change the price frequently; I was advised they start from £3850 for a day case and £4250 for a overnight case!?!?!

Hello again! I purchased a sports bra from the lingerie department in BHS. They were called maximum support sports bra and cost 14 pounds. They are perfect because they have a back clasp and reduce the movement of the implants.
