First of all I would like to say thank you to all the kind words of support and advice of the last few weeks, and to all the ladies who have let me look at their pictures you have all been great, well yesterday it was finally my turn to join the boobie club.

I arrived at Park Hill for 12 oclock and was shown around the ward and to my en suite room with sky tv and Molton Brown gift pack. I was handed my sexy knickers, gown and socks and was asked to get dressed as Mr Kazzazi would be along to see me and take before pics and to draw on me, within the hour I had seen him and the aneathesist. I was told i was second on the list as a daycase was in before me and I would be going to theatre around 2pm

Well my time had come and the nerves had started when they were putting me to sleep, I felt a cold rush up my left arm and then lights out!

Well I woke up in recovery and had a feel and was quite surprised at how small they felt but the nurse told me not to worry as they would be a lot bigger once the straping was off, I was taken back to my room and that was when I first started to notice how much pain I was in, my arms ached which the nurse told me that was from my arms being outstretched in theatre and my chest bloody hurt it was so tight. I kept drifting in and out of sleep for the rest of the evening, not much company for my husband, we kept having a look now and then at my new twins but I was mostly asleep.

I am now glad I chose to stay in overnight as I was in too much pain to go home, i didn’t sleep very much during the night due to the pain and the fact the nurses kept checking up on me with medication at 2am and 6am. I managed to eat breakfast and then the nurse removed the drains which was a strange tugging feeling then I was free to go home.

To be honest I am quite looking forward to my tape being removed on wednesday and being able to look at my new twins for the first time, right now they are rock hard and my left boob feels larger than the right boob, I have a small amount of feeling in my right nipple but my left nipple is numb. Right now I am enjoying being looked after by my husband he has even wrote down what time I have taken my meds and what time the next ones are due lol

I hope I haven’t put anyone off I have tried to be as honest as I can, I have had 550 unders if anyone is wondering

    cheers

    Jayne

hey im booked in with mr K in Doncaster in July, and was just wondering what is the hotel like? and also what are the drains like to have removed as this is one thing which is worrying me. x

    Hi LauraJayne

I stayed overnight in the hospital and I’m glad I did, but I can recommend some hotels nearby if you want as I live in Doncaster. The drains being removed were like a tugging feeling not too bad one side was more painful than the other but within seconds I had forgotten about them. I would recommend staying overnight in hosptal if you can as I was very tired and drowsy after the op and to be honest not in any fit state to leave my bed haha

Carmel-had a fantastic nights sleep last night I slept all through the night so meds must be kicking in now
