Back massage after breast augmentation?

Does anyone know how long after surgery you can have this done? Thanks 🙂

I was told 3 months, because its not only sleeping on your abdomen, no you’re actually applying pressure on your back leading to pressure on your implants. I would wait for 6 months even if i was told 3, i dont want to risk it or ruin my operation. i can have a shoulder massage sitting upright for now

I’d say speak to your surgeon and see what they say.

I used to have a sports massage every fortnight before my op due to chronic back pain from a car crash years ago.
It has been pretty terrible since the op (mostly from having to sleep proped up I think) but my PC spoke to my surgeon and he said it was fine for me to have one this week. I’m just over 4 weeks post op and I was using yoga blocks/cushions under my stomach and neck to keep my chest away from the table but it worked well.
I did only have small implants though so with a yoga block they were no where near touching the table!
