Back pain, nearly 3 weeks post op…quite bad :(

okay hun, haven’t been on Sofem yet today. It’s so easy to overdo it, especially when you feel fine! I found doing the food shop always caused some small little aches, surprising how heavy some of it is. I’m sure thats why they say to take it easy for at least 6 weeks, if only us girls could do that!!! Always worth phoning the nurse to be on the safe side tho, thats what the aftercare is for, and i’m sure they don’t mind xx

defo get the nurse rang hun just to be on the safe side and as Jacqui says u have paid for it so use it

yes your right, think i will do, a couple of people have said its totally normal, but alot of people havent felt it, so i’m gonna phone just to put my mind at rest i think x x

sara – i’ve had the same chick! only started yesterday and i realised last night that it must be the implant moving, it’s only in one boob and feels so strange! i’m also getting little like, stabbing pains. i’m sure it’s all normal, but i’m going to see my nurse tonight anyway! one of my incisions was weeping a bit on friday/saturday so i’m going to see her just to make sure everything’s ok! xxx

yes def worth checkin out hun…i’m also gettin stabbing pains, not continuous but every now n then, and implant still moving alot today, left message for pc to phone me back yesterday but havent heard as yet x x

i haven’t had any pains so far today, but it was yesterday afternoon when they started. i think i was using muscles i haven’t used in a while! haha. also, i hope it means i’m getting feeling back, ‘cos the bottom and sides of my boobs are still numb!

did you ring your mya office? did you get a yellow card given to you with emergency numbers on? it’d ring that if i was you. i had to ring the out of office number on saturday and i left a message, and i think it was mya’s head nurse that rang me back within half an hour. xxx

i’m at work but going to try and look uo the number for the office and ask them to get someone to phone me…ive had odd pains before but obvisouly with them starting up again and the impant moving at same time i’m a bit concerned…

Thats ok,. thanks anyway hun, i put a post on sofem and yana replied saying it was all normal, but i am a little worried and i think i may have over done it a bit yesterday, liftin and carrying shopping etc, and today the same boob that i can feel the implant moving has had a few sharp shooting pains aswell…i’m hoping its all norm…i was hoping you’d say you had that jacqui!! haha No worries, mite phone tomorro to be on safe side, its not just moving a little its moving alot x x

it has gone so quick!!! cant beleive your 10 weeks now, its flown by! i think i’ll have to phone really, keep putting it off but….i’m also gettin really tender in just one small patch under my right boob, its so tender and sore… same side as the implany moving and shooting pains, weird really, especially being 3 weeks aswell now, prob all normal x x

Hy sara, what are you using to clean your incision after tha tape comes off.. And do i keep wearing the sports bra?

i get the vibrations every now and again its kinda like ur belly rumbling when its hungry but in ur boob, asked people its perfectly normal x

Hi girls…Divafly…ive only washed in warm water when having a bath/shower, havent used anythin on them at all, dont think we can hun…
Sianboo…thats what ive been gettin, so weird, still feeling the implant moving, its been 3 days now, going to see how it is over weekend and see if it settles at all x x

lol i got it i suppose day four quite a lot all throo till today where i hardly get it anymore, its only in one boob tho lol it is strange, i cant use the pain killers they make me sick lol atm i cant wear sports bra as my boobs feel like they have sunburn (now i am gettin the feeling back) they were nub in this place b4, it hurts n is crap, plus i can never find tops that cover the straps from my sports bras!! xx

Thanks girls…Jacqui, i can really feel the implant moving today, 1st time ive really felt it, did you get this hun? Sitting here now and it feels like its sort of vibrating, but when i move about i can really feel it normal, alot!!

I have had more back pain in the last two days if anything, but only if i sit down for too long.

I think it must be to do with layin awkwardly then hun, not used to it…just hope it passes pretty soon…

To be honest i’m not sure whats swelling and whats noormal now! lol my right boob is still bigger than my left but they dont seem to be changing much now, hope they even out a bit more…what about you? x x

That is the exact same as me, my right is slightly bigger still so im hoping i have swelling there, its really not much but i know it’s there even if other people can’t see the difference.
I read somewhere that if your right handed then the right one will go down slower, how true this is im not sure. I also read that there can be swellen even 4-6 weeks after and it won’t be till about 3 months until they completely settle in place x x x

Yes ive heard that aswell, thing is i had odd size size boobs before the op, he did say there may still be a bit of differnce after the op but hope its not as much as there is now, fingers crossed eh x x x

I have had 17 days of and im back to work tomorrow, was hoping to win the lottery so i could be a lady of leisure, never mind back to the real world x x x

Hi Sara, the back ache is definately due to sleeping on your back hun, i had exactly the same back – ache and bottom ache!! I have always slept on my side, so having to stay on my back felt awful. On the day i was 3 weeks, i tried to sleep on my side, but had to go back onto my back after about 10 mins cos it just didn’t feel right. But from the day i was 4 weeks, i now sleep on my side all the time, i just alternate sides during the night..
Won’t be long now, and you’ll be able to sleep on your side too. By the way, i haven’t even tried sleeping on my front ooooooo don’t like the thought of that. Take care hun xx

i CANNOT WAIT to be able to sleep on my side again! this sleeping on my back business is doing my nut in! lol. i wake up every morning with a headache and i’m sure it’s ‘cos of the way i’m sleeping. xxx

Hi girls, i’ll be 3 weeks post op on wed, cant beleive how quick its gone, feeling alot better in myself now, but since friday ive had terrible back pain, mainly in the mornings when i get up, or if ive been sitting down for a while…

I’m hoping its just where ive been lying/sleeping on my back for 3 weeks and not used to that, but its so painful 1st thing in morns and keeps seizing up, quite bad…

Just wondered if anyone else has had this at all? x x

I only worked 2 and a half days last week, didnt go in today cos my son had a bit of an accident yesterday, playing footy, going in half day tomorro…xx

Ive had backache since yesterday, its if i sit down with my headdown and when i get into bed, it aches between my shoulder blades. It made me cry last night cos i thought that it would be something thats going to start happening all the time, all for vanity! Its horrible i cant sleep on my back either! I thought it might be cos i stopped takin my pain killers that i only just started to feel the pain!? Hopefully it will stop when i can sleep normal again, on my front! x X x

On your front, ow i can’t imagine that, what size did you have emijane x x x

Got to admit i dont think i could face lying on my front! lol aww the thought of it hurts!! haha Ive always slept on my side, hate not being able to, although i tried for a while last nite so hopefully it wont be long!! I was the same with that back pain emijane, hopefully it will pass, it should do!!

Now beginning to feel my implany moving in one boob, only as of today, its horrible!!!xx

ooooooo Sara, no i haven’t experianced the implant moving hun, not quite sure how you mean. I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about tho, but you could phone the nurse tomorrow just to check. I’m sure i’ve read other girls saying it too, lots of funny things happen within the first few months! Sorry i can’t be of any help hun xx
