Back size

Ladies, I have never gone up a back size I was always comfortably between a 32 / 34. I had my op 2 weeks ago and was wearing a 34D sports bra but it’s digging in my scars. I’ve just measured under my bust and according to la Senza I fall in to a 36!! I’m gutted and feel well p’d off!!

Don’t worry hon, I went up from 34 to 36 and I wasn’t happy either, for comfort I stuck with it cos of my scars, but today I bought myself 2 underwire bras for when I have had my 6 week check and the 34 fits fine!

Am 4 weeks today! I think the 36 thing was just a bit of swelling rather than putting on weight, the 36 is def feeling too loose now so I couldn’t get away with it in a bra with a proper cup. Proper roller coaster, just when I think I’m out of the woods something else hits me! My leftie has started giving me little niggly pains today, naughty thing! And because the right hadn’t dropped have arranged to see r Singh tomorrow, sods law it’s now dropped and you can barely see the difference now! Am still gonna see him tho cos I feel very bruised still and sleeping on one side is still v uncomfortable. I will let you know how it goes cos you seem to be about a week behind me with all the symptoms I’ve had! I’m really glad you’re happy with them now, they do look great, and I know what you mean about boob greed, am totally happy with mine and the next minute I think they don’t look as big as the day before, just where I’m used to them already! I wouldn’t swap them tho, when we can get back to the gym and get decent bras we will be over the moon. It’s amazing how much the op can affect some of us isn’t it?

Got measured in Debenhams at the weekend and they measured me at a 32

So Im confused to say the least!! Will be getting measured in a few more places at the weekend.

Looking at your photos you look a similar size to me, Id be very surprised if you were a 36! x

hey I started a 34a…wore 36e after the op for 4 weeks…now wearing 32f or 34e…and I have been a lazy slut and haven’t got back to the gym yet..so don’t despair hunny x we are a strange phenomenon us gals

I wore 34a before, since op i’ve been wearing 36d and they’ve been digging in but i figured, pre-boobs i never wore sports bras that were designed to fit very very snugly for support so just not used to it. i’m 5 weeks post-op and got measured yesterday in boux avenue, 32dd! i told her i’ve been wearing 34 for years but she was adament i should be in 32. I then looked at the selections in there and didn’t like as much as when i’d researched online so i popped to la senza and found a couple i liked in there. I really shouldve tried on 32e there as every seems to go up a size, but i tried on the 32dd and it was very snug but seems to hold me in! £40 for a set… i never wouldve before but now i truly like what i’m buying! Xmas hint, whenever you’re going christmas shopping go with a student! I saved me and my 3 friends about £200 with my student card in the trafford centre!

mine is odd… i always wore a 36 before… because

1) i never been measured in my life

2) i hate anything tight fitting

so, i assumed i was a 36.

However, i got a 38 for after surgery and it swomped me!

So… got a 36, nurse said too big. need to fit snug to my chest and you’re not suppose to be able to have a gap. so, i went down! i currently wear a 34 chest i have red marks!! and it digs in also… but then i read to maybe go down a chest size and have a cup size bigger??

moral of the story… Bras are S**t lol.

i never wore bras for the right reasons pre-op. i just wore gel inserts and bras that helped them stay in. having to wear a bra for support for the first time is testing. i hate anything fitted to me.

i always wore a 34 back before my op and now im wearing 36 dont mind too much i suppose if i rli wanted to i could go down a back size and up a cup size and just have it on loosest hook lol! x

Chelle my lovely!! U will still be swollen! I always wore a 34 before op ( never measured) then after op I’m only actually a 30/32b it doesn’t mean ur fat babes if ur a 36″ back my mam is thin as me but a completely different shape so she is a 36″ back!

No satisfying us ladies hey!! I forget it’s still early days. I feel fine so in my head I think I should be as I was before. It’s been a long 2.5 weeks!! I’ll wait and stop being impatient. Will need a new bra tho, this is cutting me up!!

hi hun i was a 34 before my op 2 months ago and upto 5 weeks po i went up to a 38 band but 3 weeks later and im back to a 34 dont worry a few more weeks and you will be back to normal x

Thanks for the reassurance. It’s never ending all these questions pre and post op. can’t wait until the day they are just my boobs and I just buy the same size bra for years like I have the past 11! Even after 2 pregnancies I went back down to the same size (34b). Just down some side leg raises to help the waist
