Back to the gym next week aaahhhh!
Currently wearing very comfy M&S high impact sports bra but i know they won’t cut it in the gym. Can anyone recommend a really supportive sports bra for the gym? Xx
Hey how long did it take before u could go back?
Im going back in 3 weeks time, ill be 7.5 weeks post op. I was gonna wear my m&s front zip sports bra.
I’m 5 weeks post op and went back to the gym two weeks ago. I now have the go ahead to resume normal activities including running and weights. I guess it depends on whether you had overs or unders and the size. The most supportive bra I have is from Ebay, followed by M&S high impact.
Lisa when you run do they still feel really heavy or are they normal
Jamie I went for a run last Monday which was my first and it felt fine. I did attempt another on the treadmill later in the week and my right felt a bit uncomfortable behind the nipple so I stopped. They don’t feel heavy and now I know that it is okay to run I will try again tomorrow. I think I was just paranoid about doing damage.
I wanted to wait until I had the all clear to do anything! I’m so worried about doing damage! Thanks ladies x
So refreshing to here some ladies are back at gym in 3 weeks. I have 10 days til my op and dreading no gym, I need to go to keep my mood ok 🙂 my pt gave me some great advice to treat them like an injury and go with what your body tells you xx
I’m worried I won’t be ready after 6 weeks I’m nearly 5 weeks PO and I ran over the road the other day and felt sick. I want to get back to the gym tho x
Shock absorber. I went for a run and felt fully supported xx
I’m worried that I’m going to start feeling horrible too. I work out nearly everyday and have my op at the end of this month. Trying to get as much excersize in as possible before then so I don’t turn into a lump of jelly too soon after the op!! X
