    when did you go back to the gym?

    & what exercises did you do? I don’t want to start too heavy but I’m not sure where to start, I miss the gym! (I will never admit to saying that!)

    I’m 4 weeks post op tomorrow…xx

    hiya, my sister got hers done at start of feb and waited 2 months before going back – shes been doing push ups, zumba and the rest :) xx

    OMG! gbbx! i couldnt even attempt a push up if i tried! i’m jealous of your sister! I have been advised to avoid gym classes for three months altho my surgeon said i could go to the gym braless and run if i wanted as it would help my implants to drop quicker. that was way to painful!

    I had 470 unders so maybe thats why its more difficult for me, i can walk on an incline, do upto 20 mins of cross trainer and manage a few sit ups. Previous to operation i did a 10k run, an hour on cross trainer and zumba etc upto 4 times a week!

    I’m getting fat! lol! But anything is better than nothing and if i can manage 30 mins of cardio everytime its not too bad! and well worth it for my lovely boobies! :-)

    Im 7 weeks post op and back now I have trained chest once with light weight and it felt fine want to keep them perky! lost 4lbs my first week back :-)

    I had overs, bought a shock absorber running bra they are the best. not run yet but done incline walking.

    aw, my sister only got 310cc unders so maybey the bigger size will effect u more – happy healing lol xx

    They recommend waiting at least 6 weeks to start exercise again properly, and up to 3 months before anything strenuous like dance/ horseriding/ zumba etc.

    I started walking out and about pretty soon after my BA 11 months ago, light gym stuff after 6 weeks, but it probably took me till 4/ 5 months before i could really feel comfortable doing anything involving chest muscles xx

    I went back at 5 weeks and just eased into it for a couple of weeks. I worked on the basis that if whatever exercise I tried hurt then id stop, at first when I used cross trainer I did not use the arm movement handles, I just kept them still in the middle and worked my legs. I can now do everything I used to do with no pain, I’m 4mths po.
