Back to work/ Driving

Hi ladies need some advice on how long before i can go back to a desk job after BA!? Im not sure i’ll be able to get a full week off! also what about driving how long before i can do that?

I’ve been for my consultation today & been advised to take a week off work & that I can’t drive for 7 days after, I also think tht insurance companies do not cover you after havinng GA for 7 days after x

I travel a lot in my job and have a co car, anything upto 900 miles a week so i took two weeks off after surgery. Yes the car insurance does not cover you for the first week. Glad i took two weeks as it made recovery a doddle – but everyone is different. I just enjoyed the rest x

i work with my husband so im taking a week off maybe 2 but the no driving is going to be awful i drive everywhere x

i hadnt even thought about the not driving!! im the same with getting time off, you could try and time it near a bank holiday to get some extra resting time xxxx

I got a sicknote and had time off x

im tempted to get a sick note but think having a week off and then going back with new boobs might not go down well !!

im 9 days po and have driven once it was quite uncomfortable, pulled at my left boob, i need to take the kids to school tom tho, so will have to suffer the drive, as for work im still on maternity leave so iv got another 3 weeks off, xxx
