Bandadges etc after op

Stupid question but after a BA, what dressings do you have on & for how long?

Seems to depend on the surgeon. I’ve just had dr Singh and he requests that you keep taped up for four days po. You can then remove the tape but keep your dressings on over your incisions. But some other surgeons dint tape you up, they just put dressings over the incisions. The dressings then stay on until your one week po appt with the nurse who will take them off. If they haven’t healed enough I believe she will make you keep them on for a few more days.xx
