    Hello, has anyone taken off there bandages before going back to the clinic for the nurse to remove them?

    There driving me nuts :‘(

    Please do not remove hun,you must leave them for the nurse to remove,she will know what she is doing,are they itching or just tight hun,xxx

    they are itchy and annoying :( have to wait til monday for them to be removed xxxx

    i had my op on Tuesday the 5th and removed my bandages on Friday the 8th. I thought my nurse said to remove them myself after 4 days so hope i havent caused any damage. im seeing the nurse tomorrow. nicoleh, who was ur surgeon? xxxx

    I know sweetie its tough and it must be irritating the hell out of you,but the nurse will know how to remove them,she will see if you have any dried blood underneath,and remove so carefully that you wont feel it,but if you try and you pull something you could disturb your wounds,better to be safe than sorry hun,your doing fab,just bear with it sweetie,its a nightmare but it will be worth it,have a bar of chocolate take your mind of it,lol,xxx

    my surgeon was mr.kazazzi and i had 410 overs :) Xx

    If you will feel more at ease hun,rind the nurse thats what they are there for,put your mind at rest,she may let you remove them,im only answering based on the info i was given,which was DO NOT touch or disturb the dressings,let me know how you get on,xxx

    thankyou tina, i probably will leave them and run course properly but ive noticed some girls are asked to remove them theirselves, does it just depend on size? thankyou for you advice :) xxxxxxx

    Im not sure hun to be honest,just for me it would be a no no,its only a bandage at the end of the day but its been put there for a good reason,it may be part of your healing process in the early post op stages to keep the newly implanted breast in position,xxxx
