Bath advice needed please xxx

Hi girls hope everyone is well
I was just wondering if anyone knows when it is okay to have a bath? I am sure this topic has been discussed hundreds of times before sorry for that I have tried searching but cant find any similar threads/ I am 8 days PO I had my strapping off yesterday-I think the nurse said I can have a bath 48 hrs after which is about now but I am not sure. It was a bit of a blur tbh and dont want to risk making a mistake

Hi Hun, I Had A Bath Throughout Just Didn’t Put Soap In & Made Sure Incisons Wasn’t Under The Water? At 10days Post Op I Put Bubble Bath In Fragrance Free Just Dove & Then After Just Showered Down Too Make Sure No Soap Was Still On The Incisions So Nice To Have A Bubble Bath After What Felt Like Forever Lol xx

Hiya hun, you not supposed to have a full bath until 6 weeks post op, a shallow bath with no products is fine, you can sit/kneel in the water to wash just don’t submerge the incision and don’t get your incision wet. You can put water proof dressings over them to help protect the area and remove them once your out of the bath. x

I just had a mini bath, I really dont feel very clean but it will have to do no way am I risking these new boobs haha

I was told 6 weeks too so just have shallow baths x
