    Hi ladies.

I’m two days post of and have settled at home. I’ve only had a wet wipe wash as I’ve been so drained between the op and travelling home.

I’m going to brave a shallow bath tonight and was just after some advice. My boyfriend will be help me get in and out but just want to check that I am able to take my spirt bra and my Macom band off, and that I shouldn’t get the dressings wet etc.

Does anyone have any other advice?

    Thanks ????

When i use to bath i kept my sports bra on but put a plastic bag over the top of it so when for example i was cleaning my arms and around my boob area any wet drips just went on the bag and not my bra or my dressings! Just whatever is easier for you, everyone has different ways:) Happy Recovery! x

I also kept my bra size on and just was careful to make sure it didn’t get wet xx

Thanks @abbiesummerson and @mae14 I’m just a little uncomfortable and was wondering if it was a good idea to take it off or not for a for a couple minutes or not lol xx

I didn’t bath in the first week as I found it too difficult.

But I did shower (I held the shower head) and I took my Macom off. I thought a couple of minute wouldn’t do any harm. The strapping was ridiculously tight too so it was nice to have the relief. I didn’t think a couple of minutes a day would do any harm xx

I didn’t bath judt showered and held shower head low
If you don’t have a shower keep a large plastic bottle in the bathroom and use it to was down below over the loo, will be much easier in the first few days than getting into bath x

@alexandranj a few mins would be fine. But tbh I haven’t really left mine off for longer than 5-10 mins and I’m 5wpo at mo xx

Thank you ladies!! Think I’m going to stick to just a flannel wash for a little while longer.
