Bathing for first time with no bandages or steri strips!

I’m 2 weeks po and the nurse said I can take the steri strips off today and have a bath but I’m abit scared can I soak my boobs in the bath now or do I still have to have it shallow? And what can I wash the scar with as I don’t want to infect it xx

No u can’t bathe in it, u can however have a shower but if u only have a bath my nurse told me to get a.jug n get water from the taps to pour over them not the bath water though as there could be other germs from your body etc xx

Omg really so i still cant have a bath lol kill me now lol i need my bath! I’ll have to just have a shallow bath then xx

Oh really i didnt know that but makes sense, the nurse told me i could have a bath after 2 weeks to but said i wasnt allowed to soak in it and not to directly wash my scars xx

I cannot wait to have a bath! Im going on holiday on saturday n i cnt go in the swimming pool or sea gutted. Time will fly by tho hun ul b bk in a nice bubbly bath in no time xx

I dont want to take the steri strips off now lol. Oh gosh i couldn cope with going on hol and not being able to go for a dip lol have a lovely time! Thanks girls :)xx

Can’t soak in bath until surgeon says so, I prefer showers but could do with a nice soak right now! 3 weeks to go!

Im lucky my scars r complelty healed (had gp hav a quick look) so may take i dip after having a convo wiv manager n asking how they actually clean the water etc but not the sea my doc sed he had a patient catch hepititus from swallowing sea water lool! Thankyouu cant wait to get the girls out in bikinis and boob tubes and strapless dresses lol! Xx
