Be CAREFUL!!!!!!!

A little off topic BUT there is often discussion on here about fake profiles just to get a look at pics of boobs etc. I have always been in the “well there’s plenty if places for a weirdo to see boobs other than here” camp and been pretty laid back about accepting friends – UNTIL NOW!!!! I have a Facebook profile – the usual – pics of me, kids, hubby etc – my friend text me yesterday to say fb had suggested she add a friend – someone called ‘Anna davis’ with MY picture as her profile! Also an album of photos in her profile entitled ‘me’ with another 7 pics of ME!!! FREAKED OUT to say the least! Some right creepy people out there!!!x

Oh my god…how awful!!! I heard about something like that happening on the news the other day, a bloke had taken photos off someones facebook and using a fake profile to add young girls! Some people are totally messed up! Lock em up and throw away the key!!!

No Fiona – I think that’s the worst bit about it – you just have to ‘report’ it to fb and in the meantime it’s still there and there’s nothing I can do about it! Whoever it us has set a hometown only 15mins from mine and all of the friends are men from that town! Really spooked! X

Something similar happened to an old colleague of mine. Very nice, very normal girl, who you wouldn’t expect anyone to have a thing against. Well a facebook account friend requested her, and just like you, the pic was of HER!!!!Not only that but all the pics in her album were of my colleague’s little girl. She was posting updates every day about things “her” little girl had gotten up to. Was very freaky. In the end my colleague called police, but i don’t know what happened cause i left the company and haven’t spoken to her again.

This is horrible!! You just dont really know who is who out there ay!??

Shit newboobies that has terrified me even more! I’m downloading everything from fb and deleting my account! Makes you realize that if something like this does happen you’re powerless to stop it – other than clicking a ‘report button’!!

How did they get hold of your pictures? I just got facebook recently and I thought it was private x

Sorry I didn’t mean to scare you, prob shouldn’t have said anything at all. If it makes it any better, I’ve had my account since facebook started and never had any issues. All my settings are on completely private, and only my friends can see pics, info about me, my posts etc. I can’t even be tagged in other people’s pics xx
