Hey girls I do beauty as my job from massage to facials to waxing, nails bits of everything and I’m going back to work a week after my op but told the girls at work not to book in any massage or big waxes such as legs, back and chest but don’t know how long I shouldn’t do them for? As don’t want to pull anything or ruin my boobs after op? Xxx

Hiya! I am a beauty therapist myself, i went quite big with my implants. and was told 1 week is all they are allowed to advise at mya, i ended up being off work for 11 days, and even when i went back to work, I couldn’t even really do eyebrow waxing just the quick movements were too uncomfortable for me!That was the minimum i was doing as well!.

I tried to wax at around 3 weeks but was in quite a bit of discomfort and blame my incison opening from doing too much 🙁 so i’ve been careful in the salon with treatments that need less movement, and avoiding hoovering and was fine.

I had a leg wax booked in last week and at 7 weeks i am finally feeling comfortable to wax everything now! I kept getting a swollen right boob with using my right arm to wax/file/massage.

I know everybodys recovery is different but the only advise i could give you is to probably take around 3 weeks off doing any of those treatment, just to avoid any problems with healing like i did 🙂 xx

Thank you so much I kept thinking oh I’ll be fine but I did a massage the other day and realised actually you no I don’t think I’ll be able to do it even after a few weeks she was a bigger lady and putting all your effort in to it does take it out on you, I think I’ll put in the diary no massage or big waxes for another two weeks after, thanks for replying :), hope your healing well both of you 🙂 xxx
