being on your period for op- sorry for the personal question!

Iv come on my period today, and I know I will still be on for my op on wednesday! .. Is this a problem??xx

I did ask this at my pre op as I get quite heavy periods and was worried mine might be around the date of my op..but nurse told me it would be fine as long as I’m not anemic or anything! (Incidentally it luckily stayed away for my op woo..pmsing now though ) XX
