Belle’s got boobs!

I left home at 5.30 to catch the 6am train to highgate. Got on the wrong tube lol but got to highgate at 7.15 for my 7.30 admission. Warning to those getting the train to highgate – lots and lots of steps! Empty stomach + lack of sleep + that amount of steps = almost dead.

The hospital had me down as 9.30 admission but said maybe the time changed without anyone telling them.

Was taken to my room just after 7.30. Room 315. The room was huuuuuge and very, very clean. The nurse came to see me straight away, took my blood pressure, asked me questions about my health, height, weight etc. Gave me sexy ann summers see through paper knickers to put on and did a pregnancy test.

The anaesthetist came and asked if I was Mr Singhs lady, asked how old I was and my date of birth etc because he thought I was 12 and was visiting someone lol. Told me what would happen and left.

Dr Singh came to see me at about 8.30. Said he didn’t have my file and couldn’t operate without it. Asked what size I was having, told him 410s (gimme the 410s fairyxx baby!!!), he said that’ll give me a d/dd. Drew on me and took some pics and said I was third on the list as long as my file turns up.

Waited around, wasn’t too nervous. Every now and then I got butterflies but was strangely calm.

Had a knock on the door at 10am, it was Dr Singh in his scrubs “got your file, see you in half an hour” and gave me the thumbs up.

An hour later the nurse came to take me down. Bless her, she was so sweet. She was an older nurse and said if she’d worked there a few years ago, she’d have had her eyes done but she thought it was too late now. awwwwww.

Was taken into the anaesthetic room and the anaesthetist’s assistant almost had a heart attack when she saw me. “what are you having done???” “how old are you” “what’s your date of birth” “confirm your name please” lol lol lol

I was left just lying there for 10 minutes, this was the worst part.

Anaesthetist came in “can you believe how old she is” lol. Started talking to me about Amy Winehouse while he was putting the needle in, which hurt and took some time because my veins are tiny. Gave me antibiotics which stang and then the anaesthetic. Heard “have a nice sleep, night, night”, had a funny taste in my mouth and that was it.

I woke up what felt like aaaages later. Heard “nice boobies” then back to sleep. Opened my eye again and was shaking sooooo bad, which caused me so much pain. Had an injection in my bum, which bled a lot. Back to sleep.

Was back in my room by 12.30. Still shaking and in pain but didn’t get anything else until 2!! An injection in my leg which was the worst pain out of the whole thing! Then had some painkillers in my drink because I can’t swallow tablets. I was given liquid antibiotics, soluble co codamol and diclafenic to put up my bum! Nurse sent me home with lots of lube and rubber gloves, how does she think I’m gonna reach?! lol

Dr Singh came to see me just after 2 but was sooo sleepy I could barely shake his hand and say thank you. I felt so rude.

People kept bringing me food, toast, lasagne, ice cream but I was just too tired and in pain to eat anything.

Finally woke up at 4.30pm, ate, got out of bed, felt drunk, had a wee and got dressed. Left at 5.45pm.

I loved the whole experience. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Slept pretty much all day yesterday. Not in too much pain. Bandages are quite tight so not sure if it’s the boobs or tape that hurts. The worst pain is actually at the bottom of my ribs and top of my tummy like someone sat on me.

Still got my stockings on in honour of cuks My cat loves them too, everytime I walk past he chases me.

Edit: Just wanted to add a bit about the pain, it wasn’t what I was expecting at all. I thought it’d be agony and really sharp in my incisions but so far the pain has been at the top and side of my boobs. It was real bad when I was shaking but hasn’t been too bad since. They were really heavy when I woke up this morning which hurt but still no sharp pain in my incisions which I was dreading. It’s definitely not as bad as you think it’ll be.

And I totally underestimated the lack of arm usuage!!

Had a sneaky measure when I got home. 32dd. The tape is holding them down and there is swelling so I’m thinking maybe when the tape is off and swelling is down I’ll be the same.

Yeah definitely. They’re not as big as I thought they would be. They are a lovely size x
