Best bra

Hi, brand new to this site.
I had my ba friday 12th feb at Highgate, was a 34c and had 470cc overs with Dr Singh.

Im still strapped up atm and going tues for the nurse to take dressings off and check me. This is when i’ll put my bra on.
I’m confused tho as shouldnt I be wearing a bra now for support? All I have now is a sticky dressing going under my boobs, between them and a strapping across the top of them, is this enough support for them?

Also I want to make sure I buy the best bras after my dressings come off, so the way a bra holds you, will that determine your shape after? My friend said her friend had a sports bra that had a strap going across the top of her chest to pull her boobs in together?

Atm ive bought bras from asda as the nurse said dont go spending much on them, you jus need a bra with no wires but surely the way a bra holds your boobs is important too? Confused

no need to spend out. i just brought 2 sports bras from tesco n wore them day n nyt for 8 weeks n still wear my sports bra at nyt. there nothing special but as long as there tight enough to support them but not soo tight that they annoy the stitches then there fine. my boobs after 4 mnths look reli natural i think the shape just comes dwn to the ntural shape u were b4 a ba n the shape of the implant. i wear balconette bras all the time now which look reli gd n hold the boob nice an comfortable. hope this helps xxxx

That’s a long time to have the strapping on! Does it go all round your back too? I know a lot of surgeons do the strapping for a better reault, but I’m a bit worried about it as allergic to elastoplast. Mr Kazzazi said We’ll take it off if it irritates, but I dont fancy that after a day or so of having BA!!!!!!!!!!!

Bet you can’t wait to get it off and have a shower! xx
