Best Bras For After Surgery…

Right girls, I know I’m not having my op until August… but, I like to be super organised well ahead of time, as you can probably already tell haha, and I would like to buy a few sports bras ready for after my surgery…

I have already heard of the fantastic Macom bra, so I will buy one of those a little later down the line (bit pricey but well worth it after all the money I’m paying anyways! Lol) so how about some cheaper but SO SO COMFY sports bras that you girlies can’t possibly live without after your ops?! Lol

&& how do you know what size bra to buy? I know the Macom bras you only buy your under bust measurement… but what about the other cheapy ones? I am going from a 32B and having 410 overs (I think lol) so what size should I buy?

Any help would be appreciated girls!

Cant help on size but l have 2 marks and sparks high impact sports bra’s £18 each. l wear one then wash it and replace. If not some girls on here say asda £4. you really dont need expensive ones. l had uplift l dont even have front openings.

l was 34b/c had 340cc l got 34dd so normal size Hope this helps huni xx

I have heard about Sloggi being good post-surgery bras… but I don’t know which one exactly? Do you know by any chance hun?

I bought a Macom bra and to be honest they support you well IF you get the right size so make sure your current bra measurments are right. Mine could be much tighter.

I’m 7 days post op and been feeling completely un-sexy so I bought a ‘post-surgery’ bra from Matalan today and OMG are they SO much more attractive!!! PLUS your nipples are covered so much better avoiding the Madonna/Torpedos look. But they do rub slightly on your scars so I’d wait for a few days if I were you.

Do the Macom bras give you the ‘Madonna’ look? Lol, I dislike that look! Haha… ah well, I’ve heard they’re worth the money!!

Ohhh you girls must think I’m so sad… I’ve got aaaages to go until my surgery and I’m already looking at post surgery bras to buy! Haha

Loving the macom at the moment, only 3 days po tho so still a bit too tender to venture out to search for others, if you type in mybreast at checkout on website you get 15% discount hun! And nursing pads (tesco are cheapest but good) prevent torpedo nipples sticking out! Hope this helps and good luck! x

hi girls im 5 weeks post op and couldnt have managed without my macom bras they may not be sexy but they hold boobs in the correct place to heal i didnt want to take a chance of anything going wrong after going through everything, i bought asda matalan and ended up with 2 macoms found my scares hurt with the others, i pinned the front down so i could wear a nice dress this weekend but think waiting the 6 weeks has been worth it ive saved money and im going out shopping for undies on the day of my six week check-up and cant wait good luck xx
