BIG NEW BOOBS!

Just a quick post to say I had my breasts enlarged last Friday 29th July. & All I can say is im chuffed to bits. I have had 525’s and that was completely the right decision. Jodie my consultant was fantastic and so were everyone else at MYA. My surgery took place in Highgate Hospital and the whole experience was amazing. I arrived at hospital at 11am on Friday, was greeted by the receptionist, taken to my room by a lovely lady and then shortly followed by one of the nurses. I was made to feel completely at ease as im not going to lie im a tough cookie but I was scared stiff. Mr Singh came filtering into my room not long after and explained everything thoroughly and then began drawing on my ample A boobs soon to be F’s He was friendly and even funny which again made my heart rate decrease and not feel as if it was going to burst out of my chest. He was followed by the amazing Anethetist Mr Chan (I think) I explained about my past experience of going under and advised what scared me (people speaking as i was about to fall asleep and not catching the last of there words which pannicked me) He advised everything would be okay and that he would be there to put me at ease. Not long after I was collected by another chatty nurse and taken down to theatre. I was lay down on the bed while Mr Chan’s assistant was sticking all things to me and making me warm whilst I waited for Mr Chan to come and administar the magic drugs. Mr Chan began talking about my job and how great I was going to look afterwards, He advised exactly what he was putting into my drugs and why…. Antibiotics first then as he was putting in the anesthetic he held my hand and just as i was falling asleep he said ‘your going to fall asleep now darling, good night’ and with that i prompty fell asleep.

Next thing im waking up in recovery with a machine taking my BP and an oxygen mask on, gagging for a drink. It was explained to me that they were having trouble taking my BP but once they had I would be allowed a drink back up in my room. After what felt like an eternity (more than likely 10 mins) I was taken back to my room and promptly a glass of water came which tasted like the best glass of water i have ever had ever FACT. Toast and tea was then brought to me, and nurses were in and out congratulating me on my new assets and having a peak asking if there was anything i needed/or wanted. At no point when they were being so nice did i realise they too were taking my BP.

Later on I was delivered soup and a steak dinner!! High five on the food it was not like any hospital food I had had before. More tea and biscuits were delivered and then I went home with the nurse sneaking me in a Kitkat, crunchie, crisps and a can of coke They like to feed!

Overall my experience was top notch and cannot recommend the hospital, Mya staff enough, each person played an amazing role in my surgery pre and post including cheryl the nurse at Birmingham’s Clinic who has now taken off my horrible tape and i can see my new babys in full glory!!

Thanks again to everyone who made one of the most scariest days of my life into the pleasurable experience it was! I now have F boobs and I will never look back!

Ahaha! Im guessing thats going to come! So if you see a girl in the papers that has fell down a man hole after staring at herself in shop windows, passing cars it was me! xx
