Bio Oil !

So many people keep talking about bio oil ! It must be great!! I dont really even know what it is – I’ll have to get googling!

My op isnt until Jan 12th – When do you think I should start using it? How long after?

Also – wheres the best place to get it?

Hi Sophia, I got mine in Superdrug. Start using it as soon as u wish and as for a long as u want after. Just avoid using it whilst u have the tapes on after ur op.

They also sell Bio Oil in Asda. I didn’t start using it on my scars untill 8 weeks as i wanted to make sure my scars had fully healed, so i waited untill after i had seen my surgeon for my check up. I also bought some Regen Oil, again from Asda, which i’ve been using on my boobs too, it smells really nice :bigsmile: xx

i got mine from costco. I was told by the nurse not to use it until 6 weeks after.

Thanks Jojo :bigsmile:..I bought my Bio oil a while back though wasnt sure when to start using it.I knew I couldnt use it as soon as I had the implants in as the incisions would be abit sore and raw still.I think its best they have healed alittle just incase it interferes with the healing of the incisions
