Had my op 3 weeks ago today. All’s been fine so far, but am a bit alarmed to find I seem to have a bit of rippling on the sides of both boobs. Can only really feel it when I lean forward. Is this normal? Any advice welcomed!

Hi hun, sorry am still pre-op so can’t really offer advice. Can I ask what size you were pre-op and what size implants you had? did you have overs? Can you see it or just feel it? unfortunately Mya do not cover rippling as it’s such a common risk, they just advise you to try to gain some weight!! personally if I gain weight I haven’t a hope in hell of it going onto my boobs!! Hope things improve hun xx

Thanks ladies. Missy – I can’t see them, just feel them, and it seems to be getting worse. Can now feel them at the bottom too, and I think through the nipple too. Anyone else had this? They’re unders, 260cc.

I haven’t rung the nurse yet but I think I might see if I can go back in and see someone as it’s really making me fret now.

I still have numbness too, am 4 weeks post-op. Again – is this normal?

So disappointing after such a promising start, am sad…..

Numbness is normal hun – this can be permanent in some cases (one of the risks your surgeon would have discussed or should have) Rippling is also something that unfortunately is unpredictable and just happens to some, through no ones fault, as again, you should have been told about that by your surgeon? xxx
