I can see a dark mark under my strapping where the incision is – it wasn’t there before so I’m guessing its bled! Really worried now! I’ve got my post op tomorrow with the nurse so she can look at it then, but does anyone have any idea if this is ok or is it a really bad sign? Xx
dont worry luv i had the same i was that worried i went 4 days early to c the nurse for a check up, there could b a little clot under the skin but its good if its pushing its way out as wont get infected! try not to lift arms high or pick anything heavy up as could open it a bit more! she told me to put another patch OVER THE TOP (DO NOT TAKE THE 1 ON THERE OFF) to c if it will come through again un how much blood will come through!
Every1 is different tho un bodies heal differently so if u r really worried then call the 24hour nurse. xxxx
i’ve had the same on one nipple, i’ve tried to really step lifting anything at all or reaching around for anythihg to give myself the best chance. i can see dark blood around the right nipple on mine but strangely the left nipple is killing me constantly. We all heal totally differently, i’ve got my post op on thurs.

I had to put another dressing over my first dressing that had bled quite a bit too hun. Rang the nurse, cos it was brown and ‘old’ blood she just said to cover it up with something until I went in for my one week check. All was fine xx
Thanks girls, feel a bit better now knowing I’m not the only one. I just keep thinking that’s its not if something goes wrong but when, I really feel like something going to go wrong!
It’s difficult because the tape is over the plaster I can’t judge how bad it is. But I’m pretty sure its new as u haven’t noticed if yet. I’ll wait and see what the nurse says tomorrow xx
I had same on day 4 in both incisions think I’d pulled a bit on stitches Nurse said it could be dried blood that’s become moist through sweating and come thru if u bleed more or patch gets bigger defo get it checked out Hun xx
