bleeding nearly 6 weeks post op

i say ‘bleeding’ very loosely as it’s only a tiny spot of blood! i have an absolutely tiny hole on my incision, it’s dipped in abit too, if anyone saw my other post i did the other day about it being scabby.. the scab came off and theres a dot of blood on my white sports bra (wore white so i could see if it was bleeding) what do i do? don’t want it to get infected! i’m thinking the dot of blood is just cos the scab was hanging off so i pulled it, iduno! help?

I’m sure it will be fine, maybe ring someone just to reassure yourself xx

i dont know whether to put a tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny bit of savlon antiseptic cream on it.. 1 to help it heal and 2 to keep it clean?

It’s normal to have scabs etc at 6 weeks I did and I just picked up off but bleeding keep an eye on it and make sure there’s no pus , usually when things are infected it will be red swollen itchy irritated and of course puss coming out, Rin g the nurse just incase xxx

Hi hun I had my six week nurse check up today and I still have some scabs and she said still not to have a bath and shower only. Make sure you keep incisions dry hun x

Am I ok to put some savlon cream on? Only a tiny tiny bit? 🙂 mines itchy and red but I think it’s cos it’s healing maybe? I don’t think it’s infected yet… I hope! xxxx

You allowed to wear bras or do you have to wait? 🙂 xxxx

Your 6 weeks so you should be able to now have you seen the surgeon get as he will confirm you can or not xxx

I haven’t seen my surgeon or had my 6 week check yet, I have it next week 🙂 it’s bank holiday on my 6 week date so they couldn’t do it then! I don’t think I’ll put any on yet, it always makes my cuts and stuff heal really quick but I’ll wait to find out first 🙂 xx

Nurse told me not to put anything on scars, check first x

Yeah wait till you see him, I waited till I saw mine and I was 8 weeks by then xxx
