Blister on my boobie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Girls,

I’m 8 days post op and went to have my dressings removed today, i’d noticed a bit of weeping on my right side and thought it was my wound. Turns out i had a blister under the dressing which had popped and was leaking!! Ugh!! Nurse says it could be a reaction to the dressings, just wondered if anyone else has had anything similar??

My right boobie which is the same one as the blister is also alot more painful than the left. It hurts to touch across the top of my cleavage and is a little more swollen than the other one, again nurse says not to worry but i cant help it!!!!! it seems more painful now 8 days on than it did before? Any advice would be much appreciated.

I know a few girls that reacted to their dressings, although yours sounds like a bad reaction.

If the nurse said not to worry then I shouldn’t, give it a couple of days, my left hurt loads more than my right and both are still tender sometimes 5 weeks post op x

Yeah when I had my dressings removed the nurse said I had a blister- I hadn’t even realised!! It was really itchy but it didn’t take long to heal. I’m sure it will be fine & heal in no time. xx

i hope it goes away soon, these little post op glitch’s are so annoying x

I have a blister too! I noticed it yesterday and I only had my BA on Monday. I was getting itchy under my bandage so i peeled it back a little and there it was! I think it’s just from the bandage, hopefully it won’t scar x
