Bloated belly!

Since my op iv barely had an appetite and not been eating much BUT…

I seem to have put weight on allover my body!

My belly is HUGE, my face seems plumper, and my macom barely fits my waist!!! ‘(

Can anybody tell me if this is because of the meds? n if it is will i go back to normal when i finish taking them? Im so happy about my boobs but im so down cause the rest of my body now feels such a mess! I have to wear baggy clothes xx

totally the meds- I usually have a flat stomach- never been able to put weight on my top half?!? always goes below but once op I have had a belly!!!

its better now but I took senocot to relieve the bloating x

i was prepared for bloating, but my god, i look like iv gained 2 stone! x

It will go down hun,just give it time,as soon as your off the meds,and healed enough to resume normal activities,i think most people bloat after surgery,you be fine,xxxx

Lola hope u heal very fast this can not be nice happy thoughts tho u have lovely boob I’m sure.

What are the meds we have to take after then? does everyone take the same? Xx

I had a curry last night and that’s it now, going try and keep my diet good now as I’m in on Thurs and i want to keep the weight off when i can’t do much, has anyone got any suggestions for burning some cals once you can do a bit? xx

It will start to go as soon as you stop the meds chick, the dual action Senokot did the trick for me x

I had this problem hun, you can see it in my pics, its terrible! I even had bloated arms! Senkot didn work for me no matter how many i popped so try dulcolax, if senekot doesnt work for you.

It will go tho, dont panic! x

I’m same Hun look like I’ve piled loads of weight on my skins gone really greasy aswell must be meds coz I have very dry skin had it since day one PO xx

Completely normal hun. Ice packs should help swelling go down and drinking plenty of water should help the bloating. I’m not sure if it’s from the GA or the pain meds – how far post op are you? xx
