    Hi

I’m going for my consultation next week and cant wait. In the meantime I’ve collected so much tips and answers on here, the girls are great!

I’ve read alot about people being bloated after surgery but not much info. When does the bloating start? Does everyone expereince it? How long does it last? Is there anything I can take to help?

Any answers would be appreciated and will help fellow newbies like me.

    Thanks

Mine started straight away! When I came round and was aloud to eat, I’m sure I ate my body weight in choc bars. Lol. I didn’t stop eating all day, next day and on just ate normal amounts but even with constant laxatives everyday I didn’t go till 5 days

later and still haven’t returned to normal. Now day 8 :(. Unfortunately for me this has been the worst part of the experience. I think if you’re prepared for it then it won’t get to you as much. Xx

Hiya.. it’s different for everyone but the general anasthetic and pain killers can take their toll, my contipation started on about day 2, i never got the bloating really but I couldn’t go to the loo for about 3 days. I was prepared with Movicol from my pharmacist, it’s stronger than the over the counter senakot and it worked wonders, I didnt have any more problems after day 4 and havent had any bloating xx

i agree with blondie i didnt really get bloating i was constipated till day 6 and i took sennacot extra every night for 6 days so i would imagine movicol is better, just to let u know aswel you may come out weighing more the morning of surgery i was 9 stone 2 i didnt have anything to eat till the next day and i weighed and i was 9 stone 6 the nurse said that it was no way the implants so i put it done to fluid and swelling im on day 9 post op and i still weigh 2 pound heavier but i dont mind as much as i used to because i got a lovely set of boobs to oggle every day lol my boyf is fed up to coming in the bathroom and seeing me perving at my boobs pmsl 😳

I was bloated and constipated for the first week, until I came off my meds.. sounds gross but the first time I went to the toilet I was in agony…and that was after Senokot!! So make sure your diet is good and you drink plenty of water hun!xx

My bloating and constipation started on day 2. I finally went to the toilet on day 4 and the bloating went as soon as i went to the toilet.

I took Senokot Dual Relief Tablets which ate for both bloating and contipation. I took 2 every night as I was going to bed from day 1. =)

Hey hun, ive got the bloating despite drinking tonnes of water and eating healthy. Ive not suffered too bad with constipation though….I take 2 fibregels per day.
