Bloating

Heard this is a common issue after surgery, can anyone recommend any medication to prevent this?

Laxative… that’s really the only thing I found

Omg the bloating! I have endometriosis & regularly bloat quite badly but even for me I wanted to explode, didn’t help that my period showed up on the day of my surgery!

Couldn’t take any of my usual meds so just had to struggle thru … Seemed to go on forever

I’m 8 days post op and still very bloated! It gets better I can assure you xx

I think you get the bloating regardless. I didn’t have any constipation problems or anything like that bit still got it. I think its some of the medication we are given that causes it. Mine only lasted 3 to 4 days. It’ll go away 🙂

I’m 2 days post op and so bloated! I’ve been really worried about it incase it’s the medication or whatever just hope it goes down soon.. I’ve heard drinking more water is meant to help xx
