Hi Ladies
Im having my gross plasters off and stitches out tomorrow!
Hoooooray!!! BUT…
On my right boob under the plaster (on the actual sticky bit) it looks like i had blood under it and upon investigation and pulling plaster away a little bit, it looks like i have a love bite! But its in little lines, almost where the plaster has a few ripples on it… Is this just the suction from the plaster? x x
Hey missmck, not sure, but try not to worry honey, you’re seeing nurse again tomorrow anyway. If you are worried though ring your nurse today, and make sure you re-dress wound though to avoid infection, happy healing! xxx
It was my boyfriend who noticed it thru the dressing last Wednesday morning the day after my op. We just assumed it was dry blood… One more day to go til freedom! LoL Cant wait
It doesnt hurt… just think it will be a bit of an eyesore for a few day til it goes down! x
i have the same! i thinks it may be bruising but whatever it is i’m sure itll disappear x
Looks gross tho doesnt it! It doesnt hurt to touch it, does yours? I thought it could be bruising but it feels normal when i press it! x
I’m 4 weeks post op and still have a bit of spoting from wounds, nothing major, my nurse said the only time I need to worry is if my spoting turns green/yellow and if I’m pouring with blood, everything else is normal. Spoting of blood can happen more though if you do anything too strenuous, keep taking it slow and easy honey xxx
doesnt hurt at all its faded quite a bit over the last two days, it scared me at first too! xx
Hi, some people react to the adhesive in the plasters, once they are gone it should heal in a couple of days. I can only use certain plasters with my kids as otherwise they come out in a sort of graze where the plaster has been
Cheers girls… Cannot WAIT for these plasters to come off! x
i had a blood blister on my left boob…weird as didnt get one on the right one and both had the same sterile strips on! the nurse said it was jst an allergic reaction…im bathing in baby bath stuff and patting it dry..its healing nicely now, so dont worry :-)xxx
