I’m 10 post op and so far so good with my healing.
I had my one week check on Monday and the nurse said that everything was looking great. I had my dressings taken off and steri strips put on my incisions with small dressings over the top.
Initially I had a little bit of blood on one of my dressings before I had them changed, but that was just one day post op and nothing more after that.
I’ve just looked at my new dressings and there’s a small amount of blood that has just appeared on both incisions.
I’m really worried that I’ve done myself some damage 🙁 ive got no pain at all and have been doing a little bit of reaching up today (only a small amount!) Im not taking any painkillers and because it’s not hurting me I felt ok? I’ve literally reached up to hang up some clothes in my wardrobe and hung my dressing gown up and that’s all! Nothing major..
Any help/advice really appreciated, I’m really worried 🙁 xx

Hey Alex, thanks for the reply.
No it’s just a dot of blood on one and then a line almost the length of my incision on the other? It’s not leaked through onto my bra or anything it’s literally just under the dressing… I’m just worried because I’ve had no blood at all since day one PO and I’m just scared that I’ve ripped my stitches 🙁 do you think its most likely to have just opened up a bit? Xx
