Blood test; sickle cell trait & anaemic

Will I have blood tests at pre-op because I an sickle cell trait and anaemic?

It really is hit and miss tbh, I did but I know others haven’t. Have you told them you are anaemic etc? xx

Yh I have, think I’ll make sure they take it as it can go really low! but I’ve been keeping on top of my medication so come may time it should be stable x

I would chic, then if there are any probs you can sort if before your op rather than it being found out on the day. xx

yeh i think u might get blood tests done b4 op..better to be safe then sorry anyways xx
