BMI gone from 24 to 25. Am still pre op……(MYA MODERATOR WILL BE OF HELP!)

Hiya girls!

When I had my fiRst meeting at MYA my BMI was 24, now (about 4months and a holiday later) my BMI is 25!

I have my pre op appointment with the nurse in 2 weeks. I am paniking, because if my BMI is 25 or over will they still operate on me!?

I am obviously trying (from today)to get back to my normal weight. I am going on another holiday just before my op (will be back from Florida for 3 days before op) just wanted to know if there’s a possibility they would cancel my BA if my BMI is over 25!?

Your bmi hasnt got anything to do with having your boobs done..

dont worry about your BMI!!! In your pictures you do NOT look like your overweight in the SLIGHTEST! my BMI is 24.2 and im 5ft 10.5 and 12 stone 2 pounds switching to the pill Mercilon has made me lose 4 pounds only noticed this morning!

Anna it does have something to do with it cos of the GA! If you are overweight the GA becomes high risk.

Rebecca to be honest I don’t look or feel overweight (I have a jelly belly but that I will never shift after years of trying! lol) but if my BMI says I am overweight then i officially am! haha!

I am 5ft 8 and weigh 12stone. My ideal weight is 11.5stone. Will get back there soon xx

the thing about GA and your BMI it’s only really a risk if your like verging on or if you ARE classed as obese, just “overweight” is fine

BMi are a load of shit, my sis is twelve her school told her she had high bmi…she is a little stick with skin on the

Now shes on a diet. Bmi does not take into consideration muscle mass or bone structure. Dont worry. Xx
