Hi Girls,

I had a consultation with mya a few months ago now and was very happy with them. Im currently a small 32C and would like to achieve a DD/E, told this to MYA and a surgeon suggested 460cc overs. Thinking this was too big for me i was thinking maybe i should have 410cc as i only want to go up 2 cup sizes. However, i thought a second opinion was good to have and found a company who operate in the town where i work. I work in a hospital myself and the surgeon i went to see is very well known and people have good things to say about him. I had a very good consultation with him yesterday, extremly pleased with his consultation and examination. The only thing im slightly confused about is he offered me between 260cc and 325cc and said he wouldnt go any higher than 350cc, this is alot different than mya and dont understand why one company tells you one size and someone else tells you something completly different, has anyone else experienced this?

Sorry for ranting on but thought id let you girls know its always good to get a second opinion even if its with the same company but different surgeon.

Also im so worried about telling my dad (stupid i know) im 21 but i think he will go mad, anyone have any tips about telling parents?

Hi Kate, i was also considering getting a 2nd opinion, have been offered 340- 380cc by mya from 34a. I was happy with the surgeon i saw though and dont want 2 get confused there’s enough 2 to think about already!

Also i am v.worried about what my dad will think, even though im 27, married with 2 kids, silly isn’t it? x

hey I was in same boat…went to see a surgeon at mya he said I need one uplifting and I an a small 34c on one boob and 34b on other mya surgeon offered me 210cc on one and 285cc on other I said i wanted to be a large D…then yesterday I went to see dr chantasak at transform and he said no uplift and offered me 300cc on one and 340cc on other how can they be soooo different.. I have also booked for second opinion at mya and waiting for an appointment with dr govilkar through my breast as he is very very recommended but he has huge waiting list cant get appointment until 21st august!!!

Yes always good to get 2nd opinions…

My first consultation was with Mr Chantarsak at mya, he’s very to the point and no chit chat, i want a surgeon that i feel comfortable with.

Nicnoo, im more worried about telling my dad than actually have the surgery, it is silly but still daddys little girl. Will have to do it soon thou coz i want it done asap.

Also, has anyone had the teardrop implant rather than the round?

i was a 32c and had 410cc overs, im now a 32F (they dont look that big), i’m a size 8 so wouldn’t have wanted to go any bigger myself. but i guess it depends on your size?, i had mine done last year when i 22, i didnt tell my dad untill i had them done, he want impressed! but your doing it for yourself. hope it goes well xx
