Body pump & body combat classes, post ba?

Hi ladies

I really like to know if it’s possible to do body pump and body combat classes post ba? Obviously I know this wouldn’t be possible for a good few weeks post surgery, but wondered if anyone does these classes post op? I love these classes so much & find cardio in the gym sooooooo boring! Did my last combat class tonight before my ba next week & will be gutted if I can’t do this class anymore.

I do these classes hun and you will be fine. I hate cardio just in the gym too and love the classes but I just did the gym for a few weeks to get myself used to it again and then went back to classes at about 12 weeks. I won’t lie, it does feel odd to begin with and sometimes you will ache so just listen to your body and only do what you feel comfortable with. After a few weeks I felt back to normal again but i always found it easier to do morning classes as I didn’t ache as much, probably cos I hadn’t been using my arms all day. When I started back at body attack the constant arms above my head hurt a bit so I just eased that bit back in gradually and did the rest. Good luck for your op x

Hey I was back running and doing kettlebells 8 weeks post op just got a shock absorber bra and listened to my body to make sure wasn’t doing anything that hurt xx

Hey @fayemous I started kettle bells about two months ago and was wondering if i’d be able to do it post op? I maily work on the lower body legs, bums tum and cardio is obviously built in but I was wondering if it would really ached PO as it’s a weight? I’m also having unders x
