Boobs have gone wrong need help/advice

Hi,

I’m nearly a year at post op and my boobs are awful. I’m not being a perfectionist and I’m not picking out the smallest littlest thing that annoys me about them but I truely think that they are not right at all.

This is my second op, I went slightly bigger so I know that rippling was a risk – my fault. But I had unders on this occasion the first time they were overs. Unders have given me a very bad shape, I have a lump at the top of my chest where the implants are sitting under my chest muscle and then my natural breast tissue is sagging – quite badly from where the previous implant was positioned just under my breast tissue – where this has been taken out it has left me with saggy boobs – but then I have the new implants sitting under muscle – so now I have a saggy pair of breasts and a higher lump of implant sitting much higher. I also have very, very bad rippling. I can’t wear a v-neck, vest or even go braless due to having a very unatural/abnormal breast shape and some awful rippling.

I wanted to boost my confidence with a new implants as the others were very old and saggy – now just under a year or even less than that (when it all started to look wrong) I’m left with no confidence at all to wear low cut tops, go braless and even wear a decent bikini top.

The whole taking the old implant out from between the breast tissue and muscle and replacing with a new implant under the muscle was not really explained very well and I really feel like the surgeon didn’t think it through that potentially I may end up with a saggy natural breast and then a second lump where the new implants are positioned.

I’m very dissapointed and have no idea what to do about it.

I guess sometimes it’s good in a way to read about the stuff that doesn’t go quite right.

So sorry to hear this. Can’t offer any advice I’m afraid. I had problems and MYA sorted everything for me really quickly, can’t fault them at all.

Ring your pc or clinic manager and explain to them what has happened. They will arrange an appointment with your surgeon.

Mod will probably read this (if she can get past all the crap that’s being written) and she will get someone to ring you I’m sure.

Not yet amanda00- I’m going to book my 12 month post op appointment tomorrow.

Hi Tracey, I just have a feeling that they’ll say that I have to pay for any corrections, I regret it so much now, if i could I would want to go smaller, I’ll probably have to have some sort of reconstruction aswell now – so upset and annoyed.

Yeah but just because you went bigger it doesn’t mean you should have problems. They don’t sound right at all! If there is a problem then I’m sure your surgeon would want to correct it. They say it can take 12 mths for the final result so if you don’t like what you see then at least speak to your surgeon. It’s hard to do but take someone with you and be strong. You paid a lot of money for this x

Babe I really hope this all gets sorted for you! Despite the bad press I do believe that MYA and the surgeons work together to ensure problems get resolved even tho sometimes that process can take time. I hope this happens for you soon tho, good luck with it all and like all the other ladies that have commented if u ever just want to talk about something were here xx

Really hope this gets sorted for u hun, n I hope they dnt charge u ur covered for 5 – 10 yers dependin on implant make arnt u? Good luck wif it xxx
