Hi Girls,
My BA surgery is 12th Sep.. 2 weeks! 🙂
I’ve been really excited, but just joined the forum, started reading and now i’m so scared and nervous!
So many things I clearly haven’t thought about.. and by the sounds of it, the pains awful!
Please can I have some post surgery tips on the following or anything you want to add to make it easier the first couple weeks?
Thank you so much! 🙂 xxx
– Pain relief
– Mobility
– Pillows?
– Washing/scarring
– Creams/oils/lotions
– Scar strips?
– POST SURGERY BRA’S (so stuck!)
– Suitable clothing
– What to expect!
THANK YOU! 🙂 xxx
I’m having mine done in six weeks Hun so need advice on all of the above to xx
Hey hun i’m booked in for 15th sept so 2 wks monday! i have a V pillow, macom bra (you dont have to pick a cup size as it grows with you), buttoned front nightshirt, vest tops i can step in to, leggings, hoodies joggers, shirts, bobbles. I’m going to get femfresh, babywipes, antiseptic wipes, roll on deodorant, laxatives, dry shampoo, extra pain relief.
hope this helps xx
Ooh I’m on the 12th, how exciting! 😀 haha, that’s fantastic thank you for your help 🙂
Do you mind if I ask what the laxatives are for?? I mean, I know what they do, but why are they needed? Lol Xx
I bought my stuff wks ago ha. Laxatives because you bloat & apparently find it hard to go the toilet lol. also with the sports bra issue im going to get an m&s zip up 1 but after my op because i dont know what size i will be ending up with not sure i’ll be an E or an F xx
Ohhhh, haha, i’ve just ordered a MaCom bra, then same I won’t get a sports bra till after, i’ve been looking online and they all look so frumpy! Lol getting exciting now! 😀 Xx
I’ve just read aswell to get some Arnica tablets because they really help with the bruising and swelling apparently x
i have some arnica tablets i forgot ha i just dont fancy chewing them! the m&s high impact zip up sports bra is nice actually, if i like the macom i may order a 2nd i got mine in black but may get a nude after op. did u go up a backsize xx
Hey girls really excited for you!
For bloating and being unable to go toilet I would recommend charcoal-its natural and works really well
Make sure you get your bra 1 size up in your width because they can be very swollen
For pain releif I would say get some iburofen-maximum, paracetamol and also some co codamol
Right after surgery I was in no pain and felt great the day after was really difficult
Its difficult to lift your body weight so get out of bed even pulling the chain-because its hight up is quite hard
Make sure you have a zip up or button up top aswell because it can be hard to pull anything over your head
Lots of DVDS for where your resting at home
and enjoy it
need any more help then ask away
xxx
Good luck girls it’s really not as bad as you think I haven’t been in much pain atall it’s just a dull ache and frustrating having to be careful getting up so you don’t strain yourself I’m 5 days post op and have found today a lot easier I’ve just been bored out my mind not doing anything so it’s really more just frustrating and uncomfortable than pain xx
Thanks ladies! I’ll take all your info on board thank you 🙂
The only thing i’m worried about is that they said they can’t give me the painkillers they use (codeine/cocodamol) as codeine makes my brain swell! Better stock up on ibuprofen! Lol
Also, i’m assuming you don’t mean just chewing on a lump of charcoal? Haha, are they tablets or something?
Thank you! 🙂 Xx
Your welcome darling
Oh deffo keep away from it if it does hat tbh Iburofen and paracemtol has worked really well for meHahahaah no although I can see why you thought that you can buy charcoal tablets from the health shop 🙂
Like Camilla has said you wont be in agony or anything like that its just frustrating and boring and tedious because you want to see your new boobs and put them in pretty bras lol
I was so bored today I went shopping but I really regret it and now am really sore, just rest up and you will be great
Goodluck
