    Hi,

I was hoping to get some advice. I am booked in for an uplift and implants on the 3rd April at the Highgate hospital. I have no idea what things I will need to take into hospital with me. Any suggestions would be great. Also I am worried about the recovery and what my boobs will look like when it is all over! How painful is the recovery? How long does it take to start feeling normal again?

Any help will be brilliant. Thanks x

Hi hun, i had anchor uplift and 470 unders two weeks ago by mario russo. I was totally expectin the worst as far as the scarring was concerned and was really reluctant to have it but i wanted a goosdshape so its a bit of a trade off. Anyway now im two weeks post op i can honestly say it isnt as bad as id expected and i seem to be healing pretty good already. I had help for the first week all the time as i have two young kids, and wudnt have wanted to lift them, but if your kid free u will be fine alone after first couple days. But for the second week i managed with minimal help. When i first came round from the op it was a bit stingy but not unbearably painfull, and i got by on cocodomol after the first shot of morphine and only took them for 3 days. I could dress, wash, myself etc from day one and was washin my hair from day two over the bath. I now am two week post op as i said and am more or less back to normal, can drive, take my daughter school, etc. As for what to take in hospital i only needed toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, soap, clean nighty, bottles of water and lucozade for after op (u may feel sickly cos of the ga) and change of clothes for going home, oh and some mags to pass the time waiting for theatre. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. I had mario russo and was at preston hospital, where are you at and who with?x
