both my incisions are off from each other?

My left incision is about 2cm lowered than my crease and then my right incision is in my crease, is this normal to have a vast and noticeable difference between the two? Also the one in my crease looks great, you can hardly see it all and it’s completely flat but the other is really red and raised a lot! However, weirdly enough the one that looks the best hurts the most. Very odd

Ditto, my left incision is flatter and lower and hurts more, my left looks redder ad thicker but sits higher up and is now on the underside of my boob where it’s dropped, although left has dropped more but the incision sti isn’t in the crease and looks like it will always notice cos it’s on the wall of my ribcage rather than anywhere near the boob!

how many days/weeks PO are you girls, I have not seen mine yet as still have dressings on but they hurt quite a bit is this normal dreading seeing the scars but feel they are near the crease just where bra rubs xx

Aw rubbish! It’s odd how they can do the scars so different. I meaning laying down you can really notice them and sitting up so he might have done it for a reason? I mean why would he make them so obviously different! Lol. How many days/weeks PO are you? I’m 16 days so got a long way to go until the scars go lighter!

I’m 4.5wks and my boobs were diff shapes before but still not sure why the incisions were different cos I’d have thought to compensate the cuts would have been made the other way round. I can see one in the mirror and not the other!

Well to my shock I was expecting my right one to be totally off and at one point I thought it was opening! But as it turns out it’s completely fine and it’s the other one that looks like it should hurt but doesn’t hurt at all! Very weird. So I guess my point is, there is no way to tell what they will look like. I’m trying not too worry because at the end of the day, the incisions are both healthy and the incisions will fade and I nor my partner will notice. It’s just because they are so there right now! Lol x

Im same princess both boobs different size had Helena so will see what they are like tuesday when change dressings. Do they leave dressing off or put another one on and when do they fully come off? When did you girls start feeling back to normal after op? xx

My scars are offset too. One goes further towards my armpit than the other and you can see my nipple poking just above my bra line. Worries me at times but when my bra is off the nipples look even

I had dressings off at a week but steri strips were replaced by nurse and I kept them dry for another week to prevent infection, so was 2 weeks before I had them out. My nipples are uneven and so are my boobs a bit, but that’s not going to fix itself according to my surgeon, prob to anyone else less critical than myself you’d never tell. Just have to remind myself of what I had before! I’m not totally over the moon at having my scar where it is because it is never going to be hidden, but if the flip side is having the boobs I have now I can live with it, despite them not being identical I am still v happy with them, and they’re measuring a lot bigger than I ever thought they would (34F)!

I would say I didn’t feel back to normal until 3 weeks but that’s longer than most people x

Princess, How come your scars won’t ever be hidden? Where are they? And yeah, that’s a good point! I think whenever I want to moan about anything, size (32GG, 2-3 cups bigger than expected! Lol), shape, nipple position, incisions etc, just got to think to what they were like before and that’ll shut me up! Lol xx

One of my boobs has dropped so the scar is slightly above the crease on the underside of the boob but the other one is below the crease and where my boob is very upright it’s visible front on and not hidden by the boob at all, so even when it fades you won’t have to look for it like the other one as it’ll always be easy to see :o(
