i was told until 6 weeks, sorry! This is so that they can settle into place, i really wouldnt risk wearing an under wire/ push up bra before then.

Do you really need to wear a bra with your outfit?

hi jojo, when you started wearing normal bras how did they feel? ive been desperate to banish the sports one and yet when i wore a nice bra for xmas day it felt like the bones were diggin in my implants and i couldnt wait to get the old sporty number back on!! maybe i should buy very expensive ones or get them cheap in the sales? im 7 weeks post today. also, are you comfy without a bra for bed? my boobs ache when i wake up if i go topless. thank u xx

I’ve found an amazing bra from bhs that’s non underwired but with moulded cups so gives u a nice shape without pushing or uncomfortable wire and its only

    Hey Joanne!

I really didnt like wearing bras at first and it took ages to find one that felt sort of right. I found that most wernt touching my breast bone and when they did they where really tight over my boobs. Over time this has got better and i feel normal wearing them now. I have only been able to find bras in La senza that fit well.

Im close to the trafford centre and have been n a few shopping trips trying to get different bras but always find myself back in La senza. My boobs have changed loads since my six week check so i will try and get back out soon although with the hasle ive previously had im dreading it!

Try the La senza range that has full support (usually balconette) there is loads on sale at the moment and they are really nice

ive never worn a sports bra to bed so my boobs dont ache anymore but they did at first when i started to sleep on my side.

Dreamgirl – run the bra past your nurse she will tell you if its ok.

Hi ya, I went to adds today to get more sports bras and I did see that they do a post op bra so may be worth you having a look at these as I didn’t really take much notice only being 1 week post op x x

i was given the go ahead to wear underwire bras by Mr Adamo at my 7 week check-up, but didn’t actually start wearing one untill i was 8 weeks, as they just didn’t feel comfortable untill then. I think that 3 weeks is definately too early to wear underwire, the earliest is 6 weeks i think. You don’t want to harm your new twins after spending all that money do you? I have found that the balconette bras from La Senza seem to fit the best xx

    Hey

I was in the same situation i had my ba on Nov the 25th and i had my Christmas party to go to on Dec 15th. I bought a bra and took the underwire out and wore that, was really comfy and gave me the support i wanted.
I never wore a sports/support bra after the first week only occasionally if they were feeling a bit heavy so it wasn’t an option to wear that for my night out! lol
    xx

    :bigsmile:Hi GIRLS,
I had my ba in july and i am soooooo pleased with the result .I am still wearing my shock aborber all this time after for work, bed, and the gym as we have spent a lot of money on those boobs and they need looking after.I have heared girls having ba and two years later their boobs have dropped alot. so i tend to wear a sports bra as often as i can i know there not very sexy but for every day life who sees them ,i save my nice ones for nights out . a good support bra will keep your boobs in good condition , they are false boobs and they have some weight in them .best of luck xxx
