Bra & nails

Hey girls. I had my pre op last Sat – op is 2 weeks today! I’ve been told I need to take my gel nails off. Do you think it would be ok it I just took the colour off and kept the gel on?!

Also, where did you get your post op bras from? Should they fit you tight post op or quite loose??

I have been suggested a few bra’s

Marks and spencers have ones that zip up the front, they are meant to be good, also they do post surgery bra’s which are seamless

A friend of mine had her boobs done 3/4 years ago, she swears by her shock absorber sports bras

Then there is the Macom bras. Have a look at them all xx

hi hunni i got told you werent aloud anything on, i had my op on fri…i wear acrylics but got told they need you au naturel lol xx

Hun I have had acrylics for years and had to have them removed…. had them put back on at day 6

Asd for bras i got a macom but the best a Tesco high impact sports bras £6 …. awesome x

i had to have mine removed,and talking of bras yea i find the macom is the best and i do have a shock absorber one 2 and have heard m and s ones are good x

hi olivia i went gor my pre op last saterday too. i was straight after you. the nurse said that a girl was also on the 4th april andi asked your name incase u were on this forum and i guess this is you. was it the upper wimpole street clinic u were at yeh? i no im not much help cause we had the same nurse but i was told acrylics and gel had to be removed. the nurse said my hair extensions are fine but a defo no to nails xxx

Hi Olivia. I asked the same question last week and the reason you have to remove your gel or acrylic nails is that they attach a sensor to your finger to measure your oxygen saturation levels and it also monitors your heart rate. My op is 2 weeks today and i’m a bit gutted I’ve got to remove my nails as well. Oh well – it’s a small price to pay for fabulous breasts!
