Braaless 4 weeks post op!!

girls can any of u help with this, i have my friends wedding 4 wks post op and dont rly wana be wearing a sports bra…. so just wondering if its jus 1 day going without will i be ok? can see on the other thread u can put a lot of weight on too so gna have to wait till a few days before to buy my dress cos wont know which size ill need!aargh stressed!!x

oh and ill be having uplift & implants! 340’s i think over x

some surgeons dont even suggest wearing any type of bra for 6weeks post op. so 1 day without it shouldnt be a problem. ive stopped wearing sports bra after a week i swapped to camisole with hidden support to compress em. i get more support and more comfy and look better too xx

yeah was just gona say that im having unders and not meant to wear a bra for 6 weeks, so im sure ull be fine xx

ahhh rite thanks girls! so i rly dont need to worry about wearing one for 6 weeks then.. i mean ill wear it most days jus the odd day wont rly matter then yeyxx

hi jasmine im aving 410s ova with uplift and av been told to wear support bra day and night 4 8 weeks. id check with your nurse. x x

I read on a web site, that wearing a sports bra will protect them in the long run, xx

cause ur aving an uplift it help by not putting 2 much pressure on the scars x x

I went braless 3 times because of weddings within 5wks of being post op and mine are perfectly fine.x

thanks every1 i think im jus gna go 4 it for the 1 day.. depends what dress im wearing rly but i doubt any will luk gud with a sexy sports bra! lol afshanahmed1 did u have uplift or jus implants? i think they just tell u that to cover ther backs but if ther healin well surely it wont matter for 1 day?!xx

unders and overs are different, and if u are advised to wear one for 6weeks u should hun, but ur question in the beginning was if its ok to not wear ur sports bra for 1 day on the wedding, im sure ur nurse would say its ok for 1day (and since itll be 4weeks post op by then too). BUT not for the next 6weeks if ur not advised to. xx

i’m 4.5 weeks post op and i too had an uplift jasmine, i was told to wear my sports bra constantly for 6 weeks but i’m sure one day without will be fine as long as your healing ok…xx

I am was 11 days PO on sat and I wore no bra for boxing match , was totally fine. X
