Braces and boobs

Hey can anyone help!
I’m booked in for surgery and had my pre op today and she was saying I have to remove everything I wasn’t born with before surgery. I get that with piercings but I have braces do I need to get them taken off before surgery?
This might be a silly question but I am so worried and I honestly don’t have enough time.
