Hi ladies, I’m having my ba next Tuesday. Major excitement now!! 380’s under, medium profile.

Anyway, was wondering when/if I should stop going to the gym? My plan was to hit it hard all this week (I went earlier today) and maybe last workout on Mondat morning…. because I know after the op I cannot go for at least a month.

    Any thoughts? Thanks!

i would like to know the answer to this too, im sure monday would be okto have 1 last session. im the same no gym for 1 month is a killer, i do a lot of weights and was recommended by my nurse to stay off the weights for 6 months!!!!, im sure i would be able to lift little ones after 6 weeks :( just lots of walking, zumba, pilates etc. also not a lot of running alowed for a few months BOOOOO!!! good luck with your BA xx

I also wondered this and was advised by some fit friends that as your body is about to go through a big operation you would be best not to punish it too much the week before if that makes sense.

I find the 6 months a bit odd I was hoping after seeing my surgeon next week to be lifting again.

No way! Off the weights for 6 months? That’s all I do…tons of resistance. My surgeon said I could go back to gym after a week but do zero upper body stuff. Hmmm…haha!

Imagine inning again, you’ll have lots of bounce!! When are you having the op?x

I think you can still done toning/strengthening of the legs/core just nothing that’ll cause strain in your arms or chest xx
